Got a basic bitch 10/22, its great to shoot and has really helped my shooting skill but wish I spent a bit more and got the takedown model. Gonna trade it in one of these days.

Design is cool as fuck and it works flawlessly, but it's overchoked (don't really feel like spending as much as I did for the gun on a new barrel) and the ergonomics aren't working for me at all.

When you guys buy something you dislike and want to sell it, do you sell it for near how much you bought it for, or do you gouge yourself? I remember getting a SLR-107 and not enjoying it so sold it for $800 along with 3 ((10))s and a decent gun case.

Why not just start customizing it if you're bored with it? There's almost nothing you can't do to a 10/22.

As far as I know Ironwood still had them before they updated their site.
Have you contacted Matt to see if he still had some available?
They weren't cheap as I recall, being around $1k for a body kit, but they seemed really nice.

I was just under the impression that it was a limited run and that he doesn't sell them anymore as they aren't listed on the site, although I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Nah, you dun gud, anon. The Takedown model is pointless. The two pieces are still pretty bulky. Where are you really going to do a lot of shooting that you can't carry a full length (carbine length) rifle? Plus, you can find replacement barrels and stocks for the regular model.

Sometimes the double action trigger pull will have a break in period. After 1000 or so rounds, it will lose its grittiness. If you want to do amateur gunsmithing, it's usually the end of the trigger bar that causes it, and you can smooth that out with a polishing stone. The capacity is fine for a compact. Wow, a full 2 rounds less than a Glock. Call the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint.
