Memes aside they do the job.
That's about it.

They're dated. They were great when they came out and captured a huge market share. What keeps them going now is brand loyalty, ubiquity, and familiarity among consumers.

But the design has been improved upon. If you claim Glocks are badass then you would have to claim a half dozen other striker fired polymer pistols are badass.

If Glock came out today and wasn't the first striker fired polymer that got huge then it would be similar in popularity as Kahr.

I know nobody on this board gives a shit but I'm gonna share something that happened to me today that made me love Glocks.
