I don't get why everyone is so in love with the 1911 and it's grip, it feels very mediocre, the grip safety ruins the entire feel of it. Also the slide release is TINY.

Wide spur hammers are the fucking bomb though.

I like my Kimber Warrior and my Beretta 92G.

I like the 1911 for how it feels when you shoot it, it's kickback feels good, it just generally feels great. I agree with you on the grip, which is why I used a custom grip.

fuck that. i took my great grandpa's 1911 and cerakoted that bitch and put a micro red dot on it. got one of those hogue grip wraps too, 'case it felt like a brick of shit. pic unrelated but that's what i was going for.

I don't get why people hate it. I can understand picking something else but I love the 92G. No safety just a decocker.
