While the laws of physics may not have changed, has bullet design changed? How about powder composition/bullet velocity? Personally I found the 147 grain subsonic round, fired from the 4.9" Beretta 92 barrel to be damn accurate, but read a lot about the round not being all that effective against human offenders. Still carry it though.
