Alright, completely different question regarding the attacks.
So reportedly 59 missiles were launched between two Arleigh Burke class DDs.
That means that each was loaded with roughly 30 TLAMs each or 37.5% of both of their 80 cell magazines were nothing but TLAMs.
Is this a "normal" magazine load, or just something for vessels forward deployed to hot spots? Is there even such a thing as a normal or 'standard' loadout?

I have no idea, I don't even own guns.

Those VLS cells hold a shitload of different things. ASROC, Harpoon, RIM-66, SM-3, etc.
They've probably got a little of everything loaded for any occasion.

That doesn't answer the opat all

Both of the DDGs involved last night, USS Ross and USS Porter, are honeported in Rota, so it wouldn't surprise me if they're mostly loaded up with Tomahawks instead of SM-2s and ESSMs the would primarily be used to defend carriers.

They were a Burke Flight I and II, not Zumwalts. They've got 90 cells total. There is no "standard" loadout; it's all situational, and also driven by budget and the number of any given AUR's availability.

>Is there even such a thing as a normal or 'standard' loadout?
Yes, they arbitrarily stuff ships full of missiles that aren't suited to their particular mission & station. Retard.

News reported that the both had 36 Tomahawks each with one returning to port to "reload". Russian Frigate was purportedly sailing towards the area where the two are.

are you retarded?

60 were launched, 1 had a mid flight failure.
