Picked up this bad boy for 230 did I do good? Just wanted it as a conceal carry and something to carry in my car mostly.

Just be sure to pack a ballistic face shield for when it blows up in your hand.

they're fine, both for a sub 300 dollar gun and one of the "safe" lines from taurus

Those are the earlier models. This model actual fixed the defects with the earlier ones.
They suck. We sell quite a few of them at work since they are a poverty tier handgun. I have sent about 15-20 back due to the magazine release breaking while shooting, causing the magazine to fall out.
Probably another 10 or so have went back to Taurus because of normal Taurus shit quality.

They'd be awesome guns if it wasn't for Taurus shit quality.
I loved mine until the trigger linkage bar thingy broke. If you're a poorfag who shoots 200 rounds a year, go ahead.

I have had a 9mm version for almost a year now and have put over 1500 rounds through it. I have literately shot so hot and quick with 147gr that I have made the barrel smoke. Never a hiccup or any issues. Shoots any ammo I have put in it. BUT it is a taurus, inside is full of thick packing grease. Clean it really good before you shoot it or it'll be all bad

That is the same one I have. Millenium G2 9mm

Its been a good gun. Was my EDC for a while. You just have to be sure to get the grease out of it. Even if it looks clean, unless you cleaned it already do it. Taurus is notorious for grease
I can buy a PT111 for like 185 bucks, and was considering it even since I am a poor fag, but with shields being as cheap as they are right now after rebate, I really don't see why I'd not go with smith instead.
I actually processed the paperwork for one at work today and got to finger fuck it for a bit.
