i am a newfag, in fact just to fuck myself even more im australian, i got my gun license recently, because my country are a bunch of cucked faggots who barely get the chance to own a gun pending her majesty's approval, etc etc.

now i can get a gun and my life long dreams are complete, so obviously the first gun i want is a shitty little botl action .22 to git gud with, i always see /k/ reference nuggets and from what i could tell it just meant a shitty small calibre rifle. ive posted a couple of times asking for tips and shit, still working on finding land to hunt on, got a few farms in the family but they mostly make for shit hunting. anyway i'm getting a stirling .22 with a 10 round mag for ~$380, if you can think of a better starter at that price, i'd love to hear it

actually guys as it turns out i have shot a nugget before, which was a pretty cool thing to realize given the content of this thread and desu it was pretty fucking bad ass for me, though ive shot like 5 different rifles ever, also idk if it was the m39, $500 is pretty cheap for australia, the rounds are still a bit pricey but it seems like a cool gun

The only reason the nugget is a meme was because a few years ago they could be had for 100 dollars. I bought an m44 for 100 dollars in 2014 and a crate of 880 rounds for another 120.

If they're that expensive to get and feed in your country you should seriously look into other options. Stock feels like shit, most of them come in the cosmoline you wont be able to remove becasuse boiling water is illegal is australia, and stripper clips dont work half the time...

You cant find a mauser or enfield? both are miles ahead in terms of quality and appearance.
