Hey all,
I've been looking into CCing while riding my motorcycle and have run into a snag when it comes to gloves and trigger guards. I know it'd be easier to buy a pair of gloves that fit a normal sized trigger guard but it would also be nice to find a pistol with a larger guard too.
With that said, what pistols are out there that meet these criteria (in order of importance):
1) Large, glove friendly, trigger guard.
2) Controls that are easy for a gloved hand to manipulate (alternatively minimal controls)
3) Compact or pocketable sized.
4) atleast .380 cartridge or better power/ME.
While we're at it, what shotguns and rifles are glove friendly?
Look for gloves that accommodate for a thinner thumb or index finger.
Look into pilot gloves. They are missing the tip of the index and tip of the thumb to allow for the use of switch boards. Good ones are expensive, but are made for extreme cold due to the altitude changes. Expect to pay at least $40 for a good pair, but you will like them.

Issue with that is that it defeats leaves digits exposed to the flesh grinder that is asphalt at traffic speeds.

There are some gloves where the index fingertip is removable. If you're too scared to expose your two fingertips on one hand to the asphalt should you ever crash, those are your other option.
You're not going to find many compact guns with a HUGE trigger guard unless you have a gunsmith make one, which likely won't happen. There may be one, but I look at compact guns a lot because I was shopping for my CC not too long ago, and I found none like you describe.

Try Makarov.

CZ 82 fits your requirements pretty well. It's specifically designed to be friendly with gloves, has ambi controls, and is in 9x18, which is essentially a souped up .380.
I'm sure there's something fancier, but CZ82's would be a good option. You can also get CZ 83's which shoot .380, but that's a slightly weaker round.

Second that, try makarov
I can't find the video right now ( figures ). There is a video of a cop shooting some dindu, the top had on Mechanix gloves. I have to say, you get a pair of those that fit well, they are good for riding and shooting. I actually shoot all of my Glocks with a pair of them on. Works well. Even the smaller ones like my 43 and 26.

Just cut off the trigger guard.

sweet. im pretty sure im going to end up randomly impulse buying one of these from gb.
>>33530901
That's kindof what I did, except it was only $400 when I got mine.
>>33530872
What kind of pouch is that?
I have a VZ61 and that looks like a great case.
>>33530901
As much as I love mine in .32acp, I wish I would have gotten the 9x18 one.
>>33530984
It is.
m60 barrel bags and PSL mag pouches were meant for czechnology.
>>33531006
I have to have the original looks. It's a novelty anyway, and most of the novelty is gone if I have some ugly straight magged version.
>>33531006
yeah, 9mak is the one i would get if i bought one. mainly bc i already shoot 9mak

Not a pocket carry gun, but CZ82s are solid fucking guns, similarly I'd look at a makarov or a p64. Once again maybe not pocket carry, but I feel like glove friendly pocket guns either don't exist or are hard to find. You could fitz special a .38 or something I suppose.
