Glock 23 or P2000?
Which and why?

Who do you want to .40 cal LARP as?
Boston (and a shitload of other cities) PD: Glock 23
Border Patrol: P2000 V2 LEM
Personally I'd go with the P2000. You can find the V2 less than $680 if you know where to look.

hardware battles are boring, but interestingly enough you chose the only two systems I would recommend because of lifespan and customer support, buy the one you shoot best.

Which one will handle the recoil better?
Also I'm in Cali so I can only get the Gen 3 G23 and the v3 P2000

>hardware battles are boring
Welcome to /k/. This ain't pf my friend
>>33526454
even p-f is basically hardware wars (look at the viewing ratios), sigh, but yeah I'll always bring it up because >muh on the cross
>>33526429
subjective, from my experience the glock will have a shorter slappier recoil and the HK will give you a longer pushier recoil.
Best way to figure it out is to ignore us anons and shoot em both - there's more at stake than recoil mitigation, anatomical issues come up like hand size vs control placement, it goes on...

Gen4 Glock vs P2K? I'd imagine the P2000 might handle it slightly better with the buffer.
If you're thinking of getting a Gen3 Glock, the P2000 will almost certainly handle it better.

>(look at the viewing ratios)
Do you mean the fact that most active users are on the hardware section?
>>33526192
P2000
>>33528168
You forgot the "why?"
>>33526972
yepp
>>33526192
I shot the USPc and P2000SK in .40 and they shot like 9mm. My old G22 had more recoil then they did. I would stay away from the G23 if you want to avoid replacing worn out guns all of the time.
>>33526429
The HK guns are built to handle .40 and are the only .40s worth owning.
>>33526500
also the fact that HK's have paddle magazine releases. Nobody ever considers this fact when choosing a VP9
>>33529515
M&P40 here, I am covetous of pic related.
>>33526454
what the fuck is pf?
>>33530004
They are getting cheap. I got this one for 650 after all fees from a gun shop that couldn't move it for awhile.
>>33529515
P2k it is then
>>33530177
Mmmmm, I think if I get one though I'll go with a 9 or 45 just to have something different.
>>33533018
If you go 9mm go USPc or anything but USP. They are overbuilt for 9mm, and getting accessories for them is a bitch. The .40 and .45 are the only ones worth getting.
