I just got in the AR game senpai. From what I'd personally experienced I've gone through 220 rounds of it without misfire. A bit dirty but half the fun of shooting is autistically breaking down and scrubbing every centimeter of the rifle clean. Some anon in these threads basically explained it like this.

EZPZ. Don't loctite anything on the rail, one of the benefits of the SMR rails is how easy they are for installation/removal.

Gas block should be easy too, given your barrel isn't some weird shit. Hardest part should be lining it up, however if you are drilling dimple for the set screws watch your hands placement, I slipped the drill and had it drill into the middle of my middle finger, nasty stuff.

Don't do clones, they're a fool's pursuit. You build one and realize it's shit because the military has very specific requirements for their guns, usually dictated by a reliance upon and compatibility with other old and outdated equipment.
