and honestly it was way less buggy when it was a browser game lol. Although the war was pretty buggy too.

I like insurgency a lot. The combat is not the most realistic but it captures the feeling of shooting an AR better than any game I've ever played.

Player unknown's Battlegrounds has some /k/ elements. Guns handle really great. Bullet drop and travel time. Different calibers have different velocities. People aren't bullet sponges.

Only thing that triggers my autism is that the AK, M24, Kar98 use the same ammo type and the unlimited sprinting.

FC2 (with mods) in all it's crappy glory is the most /k/ of far cry games.

I want to love the sniper ghost warrior games so much but fuck me it's hard. the first one was shite, the second one was fairly entertaining but i finished it on expert in 5 hours, and the beta of the third one played like shit.

The old Delta Force games from novalogic had variable windage and ballistic trajectory along with huge maps to make actual sniping a thing.

Also Star Citizen when in a gravity well has proper ballistics. Dun no about wind though, don't have a planetary environment yet to shoot in, whenever we get them the environments will be literally planetary scale though, with ground bases to be harassed or attacked, sniping will likely become very relevant particularly if you're trying to disrupt operations at say a mining base or something with actually wanting to destroy or capture it.

The old Natural Selection mod was probably one of my favorite old Half Life 1 mods out of them. That shit was fun as fuck.

Dylans mod is an all in one that tweaks most of the game. Better weapon handling, only takes a few shots to kill you and the enemy, longer time between malaria outbreaks etc.

combine it with a graphics mod to get rid of the instagram filter and its pretty fun.
