IMO, when you've passed 20 to 30-ish long guns, it'd seem like a lot to me. About 5-15 just feels like a normal-ish amount. Any less and guns probably just aren't your thing, or you're too young and poor to participate in the hobby properly yet.
I'm haven't passed 20 yet, but it still feels like plenty to me. It won't take too much more for me and it'll start to feel like a lot.
I like to have all the main calibers covered, but I don't need five 556 rifles or a bunch of oddball hunting cartridge bolt actions that all do 99% the same thing. I like to pick a top notch gun or two in all the main calibers like 556/545/762/308/54r/12ga/22lr and then call it a day.

Just got baby's first 4k monitor. Viewing large pictures is a totally different experience when you actually have a good resolution. Even 1080 feels kindof shit now.
The thing that pisses me off is that phones take beyond 4k images by default, for no good reason, forcing you to crop stuff before it looks decent on a smaller monitor than a 4k.

Yeah I try to steer away from long guns that use the same cartridge. I figure 100+ is too many if you can't properly store them.

Handguns are a different story. I have a soft spot for makarovs.

I don't know. I am still trying to wrap my head around the idea of having a limit to the number of guns I can own.

I do know those who have more than 7 are referred to as super collectors and that I passed that number a long time ago.

That's news to me. 7 is about average for people that actually go to the range. Most of the people I know that own less, but still do own a gun, are the kind that bought a revolver for their bed-stand and have never once shot it. Basically, we should mandate that people own at least 7 guns, to make sure they are taking this seriously.

I have 3 rifles, one is a brand new tacticool AK. two others are beat up VZ58 and FAL. I ran them alot.
And i would consider its too many rifles if i buy a new one before i got good with the ak74.

A good enough video card for one thing. I'm not sure if the (dell desktop for example) factory built in video chips would allow you to run resolutions beyond 2k(. You'd probably have to google X computer or video card and see that it supports full 4k before you ordered a 4k screen. Or you might find that your card will only run 4k at 30hz which feels fucking awful. So you are essentially limited to 2k or under if you want 60hz.
I can't remember 100%, but I think I'm at roughly the minimum card to properly use 4k with a gtx950 video card at work(can only run DOOM at about 1080 resolution though for a full 60fps, 2660x1440 runs a solid 40fps most of the time which is pretty ok but occasionally dips to a console's 30-ish at minimum), and a gtx 960 on my home computer that I haven't really tested like this.
I have run dual monitors at work & home since the first time I was introduced to the idea 10+ years ago. So I run a 4k for my main tasks at this point, and a second 1080 monitor for video/music/youtube while I'm browsing /k/ or whatever.
