Looking for a new all around/carry pistol. First compact for me.
Should I go aesthetic/historical with a Manurhin Walther PP (8rounds .32 ACP)?
Or pure practicality with the CZ P-01 (14rounds 9mm, light rail)?
Anyone own one of these?
Go full historical, get a webley scott. I mean you only care about how it looks and will never use it so why not.
Please respond.

Get both.

I feel like the Manuhrin PP is still a very viable CC gun. Safety acts as a decocker so I can carry DA/SA. single stack is not great but slim mags just means I can carry 2 spare mags instead of 1

Go ahead man, carry the PPK ripoff.
They're a great middle ground for people who really can't buy two CC guns but want something a bit better than the usual LCP sized shit for warm weather.

I probably will, just work some OT and sell something I haven't used in a while.

Agreed. Plus the LCP looks like a turd to me but I know it gets some people hot and bothered so thats cool.
The PP is basically a PPK longslide. decently priced too.

I conceal carry anything from a full-size M9 clone to a subcompact 9mm to a single-action revolver to pic related. I even went to the gas station with a Draco under my coat one time in the winter, just for the hell of it.

glock 20, good for hiking too

You're doin it wrong
You could look into getting a glock 26. 10 rds 9mm and it is short and fat, so depending on how you dress it should conceal nicely. Plus you can use glock 19, and 17 mags for more firepowah

OwO tell me about your gun
Depends where you live. If somewhere coldish, a compact double stack 9mm is a good bet because you're already wearing bulky shit.
If somewhere fucking hot like where I live, a slim single stack 9 is hard to beat. I get 7+1 in my XDs which I'm confident would deal with any normal threat.
Look into a Walther PPS. I carry it every day, it's under an inch thick, 8 round mags (in 9mm) but doesn't feel small enough to feel unwieldy. It has a rail too because you mentioned that.

yung /k/ at it again

Fuck all these people yapping away about double-stack 9mm blah blah blah.
If you want good stopping power, a gun that looks cool, and also costs approximately the same as a 50-rd box of ammo for it, go with the MAC 1935-S.
