Not him but I like mine quite a bit. Plenty of pockets and six mags in a relatively small chest rig that is super rugged. The shoulder straps are kinda sucky but those are easy to rig up and mod to however liking the user wants. I can fit in mine both 7.62 and 5.45 AK mags, vz.58 mags, and 30 round AR mags with no issues, and with 20 round FAL mags and 20 round AR mags they fit as long as I stuff a sock in each pouch to make them less deep and make it easier to pull the mags out

They've gone up since I got mine though, not sure how much they are now

Took my Pyramid WASR to the range today to get sighted in even though I haven't checked the headspace yet. Didn't explode in my face, so I consider it a success even though the front sight had to be pushed over almost as far as possible to the right to zero.

Also shot my friend's tacticool WASR. Was nice, but I dig the old school feel myself.

Hell, with an RS Regulate mount (upper and lower) and a Primary Arms Compact Prism 3x, it'd probably be about the same price as the PK-AS.

Although there are some posts from '13 on the Files saying the PK-AS was being discontinued.

I have two virgin Bulgarian 74 barrels and a Romanian virgin AKM barrel, and a 74uLLC receiver for the AKM kit I'm keeping.

I'm on the fence about what AK I want next. Ive wanted an 88 AKS74 kit for a while, I want an SGL31 so I can 74M clone it, and I want a DDR AKM but the Maadi is close enough so I'll probably never get around to that one. Still choosing between an 88 kit being built 100% true to autism or an SGL that I can enjoy as is but still have it converted down the road is a tough choice. I do want an AUG but that's money I can spend on AK stuff which is what I like best so I probably won't get one

I actually just bought a 31-94 this week for this exact purpose. I might even be a tremendous faggot and never shoot it.

Personal advice, split the difference and make an '88 kit into a pseudo 74M like the Russians did in Crimea.

Well if they are still coming from Molot they aren't gonna need ATF approval to start production. Rather I am assuming that the lines of communication between molot and FIME isn't a smooth as most normal business agreements. New Pyramid WASR stock came in. It's an original Maadi military stock, given a bit of a refinish since the stock finish was basically just bare wood.

Hard to tell in this light but the stock is a warmer honey color than it looks. It's so honey colored, in fact, that a bee flew in my apartment and landed on it the moment I opened the door.

Which is yours? The one on the right is closest to original condition. If the stock is an original match then it's probably a non-refurb. I'm pretty confident I was the first person to shoot mine outside of factory test firing. The only thing that would make it better for me would be if the import markings were on the barrel instead of the receiver. Such ugly import marks. I wish they could still put them on the barrel.
