i look at the show like i play dayz. trust no one, shoot to kill, and roll with a group at all times. ive had large fights in dayz too and it never goes according to plan. but hey, they are following the comics so maybe they have a better explanation as to how negan got away.

I don't have training either and I still know to, at the very least, get behind something heavy when not shooting. Literally anyone knows that. The only reason to go in the open like that is for sheer intimidation if you're going against like 1 guy with a bolt action or something, and even then it's probably retarded.
