Why are older single stack military handguns so much better looking than modern military handguns?
Duh. Flat grips makes for a smoother profile. Also they were often smaller caliber, so slides were slimmer and barrels shorter.
My personal favorite is the FN Browning M1910/22. I have three, in varying conditions.

because back then everyone was coming out with new stuff, looks were just as important to manufactures as function- catching the eye of the people you want to sell to was important
Do I count?

Don't reply to him. He feeds off (You)s. The day he doesn't get any he'll put the gun in his mouth and end it.

they were made when craftsmanship was the norm and part of the building process. It still happens today, but not as much what with plastic taking over
also most pockt/ccw guns still had some heft to them like the colt 1903, Remington r51, the savage, ect and therefore more comfortable

is that thing even fucking accurate? I know the barrel is still pretty long but it looks like one of those cut down shotguns that you can hit shit with
