You do know there's a difference between mB and mb, right? mB is a megabyte and common speeds are about 2 to 3 megabytes per second. If you had a 3 megabit download speed, it would take minutes to download a photo and hours if not days to download anything else.

Same I got internet and cell phone. I literally have no use for a TV though, and I pretty much watch everything on my computer. I think it's pretty neat too not having a big ass TV taking up space in my house.

All you have to do is connect to a VPN server in a country the content isn't copyrighted, the VPN connection then makes the transfer to your machine encrypted.

How old are you? 3 megabit/s is almost 400 kilobyte/s... I used to surf the internet on 3 kilobytes/s with dialup (as did everyone else of course). 10 megabytes per hour, those were the days.

3 megabits per second is an extremely standard entry-level internet connection, you can browse, stream mid-quality video, play games, etc. It's 1.3 gigabytes per hour so you can even torrent porn on a reasonable timescale.
