Interested
I was thinking about it and it looks like lemat parts fused with a 54 lefaucheau
Did you find any markings on it?
Not really, I was thinking almost the same thing tho, but it looks original after all, here's another pic

a glaive/guisarme
very interesting. From where?

This is really bugging me if you find out what it is please post
None of the LEFAUCHEUX MODEL 1854 – 1862 have the pipe cylinders. They indicate it is early.
It has to be something like a Francotte Revolver Lefaucheux Pinfire fitted with a newman Freres ring rigger or similar
11.0 mm. Lefaucheux Pin Fire Revolver August Francotte et Cie. Liège, Belgium No. 29397
Francotte RevolverLefaucheux Pinfire Revolver
No. 933
11.0 mm. Lefaucheux Pin Fire Revolver August Francotte et Cie. Liège, Belgium but that is still wrong, Vero Gassner, gassner, beglian leige, lematt...?
What calibre is it?
Honestly it just be the result of some gunsmith somewhere just cobbling together a gun from parts once upon a time.
Like maybe he had some gun that had Kb'd and rebuilt it with retrofitted spare parts or whatever
I can tell it's a pinfire, which suggests it's from an era of widespread gunsmithing.

From the ground actually, know what it's worth?

This. I would say it's scrapped mariette brevete pepperbox remade into actual revolver.

Interesting claim, but what made you think so?
>>33506960
Any proof marks? Lefaucheau wasn't the only one making pinfires. There were a lot of unlicensed copies too, usually Belgium. Probably why Lefaucheau set up a factory in Belgium too.

Cylinder and trigger. And all the other parts have that somewhat ruggish and hand-made look.

I had this feeling too, but it could be just the model being like this
Seriously nobody recognizes this thing?
bump for curiosness

The problem with pinfires is that at least 100 billion of them were made in France & Belgium in the 19th century. Many were crudely made, combining elements of more commonly produced revolvers.
A nice collectible, but not likely to ever be definitively identified.

Its cool but not much IMO
Decent condition halberds get 1500-3000 euro
That's pretty rough so unless you have archaeological provenance to go with it the value will be low. Get it documented.

Any sign of the Liege ELG mark on it?
Try looking at it under UV to see if any marks stand out
Ignore some on here
Rare large bore pinafores can go for good money if they are identified. Some had very small runs.
