I didn't see another thread.
Picked up a NiB new gen kektec KSG for $850. Thanks tax returns.
What sort of new goodies did /k/ get recently?
>>33501197
Dont blow off your hands
I don't have a new gun to show off, but I did get this in the mail.
I purchased 1903 hammerless months back and given its age was curious about where it might've been.
>>33504489
Most of the time the answer isn't all that interesting. After all, you used to be able to buy guns in hardware stores and such. Even so it'd have been a neat relic from a different time, knowing it'd met its first owner at a Dry Goods and Sundries or something.
The answer was a bit more interesting than that, however.
>>33504539
A gift, apparently, from Colt. For a presentation piece, it's not ornamented or engraved, nor does it have any indication of who might have been the lucky recipient. It's well-cared for, but shows the marks of a lot of carry.
Pretty cool, so I thought I'd share.
>>33501197
Just got a Gen1 Sub-2000 for $400. Guy added a great set of sights to it, damn thing is near immaculate too.
Looking to add rails but since I don't want to pay $200 for an ugly-ass quad I may just end up drilling holes for them to add a flashlight and/or laser.
>>33504489
>>33504539
>>33504659
Cool gun! Are you going to shoot it or just keep it as a safe queen?
>>33504743
Already taken it shooting multiple times. It's a fine little piece. I can see why like a half million were made.
FINALLY got a linker for my 1919a6
>>33504803
Nice, I need one for this
>>33504822
Gosh, what a terrible problem to have.
I got functional tanker's nightvision from 1963 from a gun show today.
>>33504822
thats an unfortunate problem my friend. i have 600 down 400 to go
>>33501197
Bought a Remington model 11 at a gun show for $300. Managed to talk the seller down from $350.
>>33504932
congrats friend. lovely gun. mines a 1928. inherited it from great grand pap. if i may give you some advice, when loading the tube be extra sure that you drive that shell home with your thimb. if it doesnt seat all the way, especially on the last shell, it will eject into the receiver with the bolt closed and create a very annoying situation. you will either have to disassemble or place the butt stock on the ground and really force the barrel to cycle it through, neither of which i enjoy.
Snagged this at a gunshow for $430 out the door, didn't come with mags but that's what also got the price as low as it did. Going to be swapping out the furniture soon as well as getting a few plum mags for it. Other than that it shoots pretty dead on but needs a slight elevation adjustment. (and the trigger is absolutely way better than I was expecting, light and crisp.)
>>33505120
is it a century M74 sporter?
>>33505141
It appears to be. I wasn't actually expecting to buy anything though. (because I'm a dumb-fuck who forgot to raise the spending threshold on my bank account after tax returns beyond $1,000)
>>33505225
Check right in front of the magwell, it'll say
>>33505290
(Of all the places I checked I can't believe I didn't look there- it is.)
>>33505466
What letter does the serial start with, just wondering?
Mine is a C-series, iirc the J-series serials have some issues with keyholing but mine has been great. Granted, I got it for $400 6 years ago NIB, but still.
You could've done worse, $450 for any AK is making out like a bandit imo.
Today I spent 700 United States of American Dollar Legal Tendies at the LGS to pick up this L-series MAS 36 that looks brand new (and 100 rounds of special snowflake 7.5 to feed it) and a CZ-52 that fires when you close the bolt with the safety engaged: God's waited 28 years to test my muzzle control but today I passed.
How'd I do? My personal assessment is that I did good on the MAS for 400 and poorly on the CZ for 300.
I may go back for the Arisaka.
>>33505536
Mine's also a C-series, so it appears I just got a really decent gun for a really good price. But yeah I had to triple check because this is the first time I've ever seen a 74 at a gunshow before, and the halarious thing is it was cheaper than almost ever SKS and Mosin there.
But the real problem I have now is "Do I want wood or plum furniture?".
>>33501197
damn OP i was going to spend my tax return on the same gun
Got one of these on layaway today cuz I don't know how to live life.
>>33505900
>that checkering
>>33505908
It's not bad at all. Very comfy gun. I felt up an FNS-40 last week that was downright over-aggressive with the grip texturing.
>>33505893
Do it. It's a great gun. Just be sure it's a new gen one.
>>33501197
>>33505893
>Got to watch a guy fling 12g tracers with one of these
Looks like fun, but his was jamming quite a bit. Keep in mind this was two years ago.
>>33505900
Looks good, anon. Congrats.
I was thinking of grabbing one of those or a USP45 down the road for suppressor fun. Might just get a RIA1911 with a threaded aftermarket barrel though.
Picked this fella up for a great price because employees are dumb.
I also got a Beretta 92G Elite 1 on layaway for a great price for the same reason.
>>33505972
He might have had an old one. The new KSGs had the bugs worked out.
>>33506182
I believe so.
>>33506017
>Looks good, anon. Congrats.
Thanks. I am seriously waiting for next weekend so I can bring it home and shoot it.
>>33504803
Please make a webm of this in action.
>It'd be even better if you got a perfect loop.
>>33506087
What store?
>>33501197
picked this up a couple weeks ago with my tax return, plan on SBR'ing it at some point
>>33504932
Sounds like a great deal.
I just boight this Browning Gold yesterday for $500, youre making me feel like I got jewed.
>>33504803
>1919A6
>Tula
... Man I know it's expensive to shoot but... you don't have to be cruel to the gun.
>>33501197
you need to put one of these on that pump rail, if you want to use a VFG.

>>33507887
You don't need it if you use the Magpul RVG
>>33501197
tell us how much you miss the skin of your forearm
You overpaid by $150. Good job retard.
>>33504803
that is awesome

>still waiting for my 590 shockwave to show up
Ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
>>33508760
Literally why
>>33501197

accuracy is absolute shit in its current config as a pistol
SBR 992r kit on the way
Sig Romeo 5 red dot on the way
low profile left and right safety selector on the way (stock safety blistered my hand after only 100 rnds. common problem)
custom trigger and springs on the way ( lol 10 lbs pull from factory)
Will update once its an SBR and shootable
>Im following the correct step Mr. ATF
>pls go ATF
>pls stay go
>>33501197
Also picked up an FNS-9c couple weeks ago for daily carry OP
My most recent purchase and build
>>33505729
$300 for the cz 52 is a little below standard. Sont worry dude, especially if its in not beat to shit condition.
Just got my first gun on Thursday, its a Savage Arms MSR 15 Patrol rifle. Paid ~$812USD after tax.
>tfw live in NJ so the stock is pinned
>tfw live in NJ so the mags are pinned
>tfw I bought an $800 pin cushion
How'd I do?
>>33509232
Sorry about your pin gun
Didnt even know Savage had got into the AR game
Def gonna check em out, thanks
>>33509343
yw
It was suggested to me by a sage /k/ommando. I wanted to buy my first gun and I wanted something a little versatile.
>>33507779
Local pawn shop
>>33509107
I'm between one of these and a Cx4. I like the CZ, but the Cx4 is super comfy and doesn't require a brace. Granted, if just need an adapter and I can pull the shockwave off of my AR pistol until I get something else.
Picked this up today for $200
Complete with box, papers, and an extra magazine, I feel like I got a pretty good deal.
Forgive the shitty quality pic

since my AR10 isn't coming anytime soon I picked up a Walther PPS M2
might use it for PPC1500 offduty division
>>33510186
>>33510201
Thanks. I'd been looking at some of those parts already, and they were a Major part of why I was considering the scorpion
>>33510041
You did good, anon.
S&W autos from the 80s-90s and their clones are great, especially for how cheap you can get them.
>>33510637
so fucking sensual
Picked this 1903 up for 750 at my LGS. Bid on a lot on GunBroker but got this one because all the others had some pretty bad pitting. Even the bluing is in decent shape. The grips on the other side are cracked but I ordered replacements already off ebay. All in all pretty happy. Would have been nicer to have a .380 one but .32 is acceptable.
1916 manufacture.
>>33510763
With the family :D
Got a mostly new Ruger LCR .22lr from a coworker.
It was very enjoyable blasting some cans from the porch after work that morning.
>>33512011
How bad is the trigger pull? My understanding is they made it pretty heavy on those because rimfire.
>>33501197
Got another week before i can pick up my cz97b
>>33510797
Excellent taste.
>>33512995
Pretty rough. It is double action only, and like you said rimfire. It is my first revolver (and first non-glock pistol) so I like it even with the crazy trigger pull.
The way I am looking at it is if I can git gud with a snub-nose rimfire DA revolver, I should be able to shoot just about any pistol accurately.
Last weekend I scored a new off the shelf Savage mkII fvsr for 230 bucks at a MC Sports going out of business sale. They had a 500 dollar Springfield mil spec I passed on and returned for to find it gone.
And
>drumroll
The ATF cashed my checks for an AAC element II and a rugged obsidian.
The savage plus the element is going to be a quiet little package. I was going to put it on a 22/45 but when I saw the bargain on the savage it just made too much sense.
>pic of obsidian host related.
People who say it's stupid to own in semi auto be damned, it's a joy to shoot regardless.
>>33513431
>>33513550
i think i made a mistake getting a cz evo carbine instead of a pistol with brace.
So antsy to pick this up
>>33514054
five seven is the most fun i've ever had shooting a pistol. but that ammo cost just is a turn off and reloading it is really impractical
>>33514105
It really is expensive but it shoots so well I had to pick it up. At this point in my life I've accepted that shooting is literally throwing away money, might as well have a great time.
>>33510237
This was a good buy.
Purchased a bottle opener online since none of the 7 gun shops near me had any. Just waiting for it to ship to my local FFL now.
>>33515969
did you do classic or sog or something else?
Daniel Defense M4A1
Trijicon ACOG ECOS
Colt M45A1 Decobond
>>33515978
Classic, two grips one mag, SOG had one mag and cleaning rod and holster but i'd rather two grips plus they had the shop thats a mile or two from my house on file already
Picked up a 1944 mauser P38 with matching parts in good condition with a holster/mag pouch for $650 today
It's got all the right markings and no capture or import marks. The shop owner said it was brought in by some hipsters probably selling grandpa's battlefield pickup for weed money... They also brought in a pre WW2 P08 in fucking amazing condition
Funny how after 73 years it finds it self back in a Nazi's hands
>>33516113
That's how I got my 1943 Kar98k in near mint.
Sieg Heil
>>33516139

WOuld you mind posting your experience with it after you get it home and shoot it?
>>33516182
Nice
>>33516182
I had a ria, wasn't bad, but good lord I had to change those grips immediately
>>33516412
>>33516182
How THIQ is the grip?
Are we talking Beretta 92 size?
>>33513577
Its sex with a brace
>>33515324
trigger is shit though
doesn't really matter for a carry pistol
but I wanna use it for sport shooting as well
maybe it will run in
>>33501197
Bong so no tax return here, but bonus in pay pack.
Looking at either an AI AT in 308 or a .45ACP carbine
Picked up a Takedown model Greener Gp 12. Martini-actioned single barrel shotgun
>>33517112
And a Savage 24 22lr/20g. Will probs give to my little brother as his first gun.
>>33517112
>>33513108
Very nice gipsy, you lay around $600 ish for it? I havent checked on them lately but one of those has always been on my list.
