Joke not obvious over here. I could care less about the polotics, the main guy used guns and that's always positive, and it was hilarious. I don't think movies have to be autistically R Lee Ermey - tier to be enjoyable, just fun and gun, like Rambo or Terminator 2, feature the guns well.

The dude had his handgun rainbowing at that trajectory, he was pretty much volley firing. Which is possible, and not absurd to believe that he had been trained for that if your only weapon is primarily going to a handgun while defending very expensive clientele. Secondly, if you're referencing the OP pic as being on safe the you better look again.

I highly recommend the 80s ahnold movie RAW DEAL.

It still has the based 80s armories and ahnolds a fed fighting mafia guys so it has a lot of revovlers still. Its pretty cool I think its the first anchor shot in a movie ive seen and the mafia thugs with revolvers actually reload while ahnold mows people down with a straight mag mp5.

pretty cool. I need to rewatch Cobra and Tango and Cash to look at more beautiful firearms and listen to those wonderful synths all 80s/early 90s movies seem to have had.

Quinlan's subordinates reported that he was a terrific leader and the reason that they survived. In the movie though it shows him behaving in ways that would be extremely demoralizing for his men - getting emo over killing, piss poor conduct on the radio, saying they're doomed within earshot of enlisted men, etc. Seems like a shitty way to keep your unit together in a tough spot.

Most war movies are like this though, BoB is the only one that seems to have gotten it right.
