Wheeled vehicles are cheaper to produce, cheaper and easier to maintain, oddly enough more reliable, faster, can use highways. Most ones like the related pic are actually tank destroyers, they use mobility to flank around enemies. Also they can carry a larger more powerful gun due to not having to haul around tracks and tons of armor.
