I'm guessing that's how it's done anyway, and since it's so stupidly long, there's enough flex to get the loop over the muzzle brake.

Chrome-lined are easier to clean, but I shoot non-corro through my Mosin all the time and it doesn't do anything abnormal.

The earliest ones (pictures of #3 and #18 are online) have a matte finish with more writing on the sides. Now they are semi-gloss black, the only writing is the serial on the bottom and the numbers for the brightness adjustment knob.

Also, the screw pattern for the mount is unfortunately NOT the same as aimpoint/PA/Holosun. I'm pleased with the thumbscrew mount it came with, though. Some of these are also selling with a QD lever mount.

Observations:

First three settings appear to be for nightvision, the dot is invisible.

People are bitching that it's a 3 MOA dot, but it appears indistinguishable from my 2 MOA PA micro dot, and is actually crisper to my slightly astigmatic left eye. Don't have an Aimpoint right here to compare.

Someone was wondering yesterday if you can see the light from the emitter from the front. You can.

My only disappointment is the emitter is right at 6 o'clock and fucks with cowitnessing the irons, you can barely see them on the battle zero, despite the sight body itself sitting lower on the rail than a PA or Aimpoint.

I'd like a belt for 2/3gun at the very least, plus if I can actually find a place to hog hunt I want to have very quick access to extra mags as well as things that'd come in handy like lights, knife, I'd probably bring my ASP with me just because it'd make me feel better.
