I'm not a fan of the ACR stock, but I really like the way it looks on the 805.

Dumbass is memeing. An anon in another thread claimed that he saw on a Czech military forum that they sucked, so lacking any evidence except for one picture this seems to be a new meme.

That price tag tho

I love my Scorpion because pistol caliber, but I'd love to have an 805 to round that out.

The military 805 isn't the same as the American civilian 805.

You can find them for way less. 1500-1600 bucks.

I don't really see the point

You're must* follow the rules, but no citizen has ever been prosecuted for it. It mainly exists for importers to abide by.
>>

I like my 11in 805 I am just waiting for the stock block to get here. it's a surprisingly smooth shooter.
>>
>>33492355

scratch MADE IN USA on every single part.

Problem solved.
>>
>>33492319
922(r) doesn't matter at all. It's impossible to enforce and the ATF knows it.
>>33492184
Uh..ok? I'm saying it has some of the improvements from the 806.
>>
>>33492393
>scratch MADE IN USA on every single part.

That would look gross

As long as the ATF does not hold an annual penis and SBR inspection day I don't care.
>>
>>33492355
The HBI trigger shoe is nice, and feels a lot better than stock. Installing the HBI trigger spring is a more valuable and cheaper upgrade.
>>
>>33492319
No.
Being title II exempts it from the sporting purposes bs.
>>
>>33493363
That is incredibly wrong. 922(r) almost explicitly applies to Title II weapons, since the GCA specifically paints foreign Title II weapons as non sporting arms and thus not legal to import. If you assemble an SBR, a non sporting arm, from a foreign firearm, you must comply with 922(r).
>>
>>33491442
my friend got one. i liked it a lot more than i thought i would, it feels very nice both in handling and shooting. its often described as nose heavy, which it is slightly, but not so much as to call it a big deal. if i wasnt so hyped for the bren 2, id already have a 805
>>
>>33493587
How is the weight overall? 8.5lbs turns off a lot of people but I don't think it'd bother me.
>>
>>33492423
>No annual ATF penis inspection day for every NFA item you have

Anyone order the cgw t1 disconnector and have to manually fit it?

I picked up a CZ-75 pre-b about a year ago with a 3 step gritty ass single action trigger. I just ordered some OEM parts, 13lb hammer spring, and the t1 disconnector hoping to fix it.

As my luck would have it, the t1 needed some fitting. With a Dremel, various bits I'm not sure how to properly use, some cheap "Canadian" whisky, and a carpenters hammer, I was able to get a sa trigger that is better than my sr1911.

Either ruger stock 1911 triggers suck cock, or my inebriated gunsmithing skills are top notch. I can't wait to shoot this bitch.

>>
>>33498907
Hey, Its going to release!
>>
>>33498868
That's not the pcr, but the compact.
>>
Czech here. First BREN got a very mixed reception, which was caused by a rough start because of lots of smaller, yet annoying issues with the rifle. They managed to hunt most of those after and before the public launch, but the bad name sticked anyways. Check the reviews. There was also plenty of bad rep because people here are traditionalists and it wasn't warmly welcomed that BREN replaced much beloved SA/VZ 58.

Second newest version is however rated mad high si far, and it seems they learned from previous mistakes.

Also check out VAR rifle, because that is fucking beautiful stuff, completely Czech made.
>>
>>33498868
75 compact. I assume by aluminum you mean the p01. The 75 compact is slightly heavier, which I like. I haven't messed with the p01 much. It has a useless tac rail on it so I didn't go for it. But I think the p01 does have the Omega trigger.
>>
>>33499000
Is this what you're referring to, Czech anon?
https://www.v-ar.cz/en/products.html

Because if so.. that's a damn sexy rifle (is it long or short stroke piston?)

Why hasn't it ever been exported to the US?

For that matter, what made the Czech military choose the Bren over the VAR?
>>
>>33501228
It's just some fucking piston AR, no one wants that shit.
>>
>>33498393
>Should be available within a year or two
Does your uncle work for CZ or something? If not then that's fucking dumb conjecture on your part since there has been no statement from CZ on the matter, and it took almost a decade for the 805 to come to the US.
>>
>>33498305
Do you want to carry it?
>>
>>33498569

I dig that steel, don't want no PCR. What sights are those?
>>
>>33501024
The PCR has an aluminum frame as well. The PCR and P-01 are literally the same gun except the P-01 has the rail.
>>
>>33493646
it really isnt an issue. most of the weight is in the upper receiver but its pretty well spread out along the rifle. it feels kind of nose heavy bc the stock weighs very little in comparison. 8.5lbs might sound like a lot on paper for a basic non optic carbine, but when you get it in your hands, you realize it isnt a lot at all.
>>
>>33504911
Is that 8.5lbs loaded or unloaded? I see a lot of different weights ranging from 7.4lbs to 8.5lbs. I'm guessing 8.5lbs is loaded since someone said it didn't weigh much more than a SCAR.
>>
>>33503687
I would if its appropraiately sized but not really worried about it
>>
>>33505028
8.43lbs for a carbine
>>
>>33505520
Yea, I rounded up.
>>
>>33494662
Figured I'd give an update while I'm not drunk.

I took it shooting today. If I had to guesstimate the trigger pull, I'd say it's around 2.5-3.5lbs, it's seriously light as fuck compared to the rest of my guns. Hammer doesn't push-off, trigger has crisp reset, I fixed a few other things causing trigger grit so it's a night and day difference.

I did fuck up fitting the safety to the sear though, I took a bit too much off the sear so the safety will engage with the hammer down. It's not a big deal since I never use the safety on it, but the possibility of someone shooting it in DA with the safety on, and the fact that shooting SA with the safety on causes the hammer to fall to half cock worries me. I'll probably try soldering a bit of material to the sear and refitting it, or getting a new sear.

It's my favorite handgun to shoot now.

My only CZ is in .22 and it's the mannlicher model.

It's a dream to shoot. At 100 yards I have to try to miss the steel gong. My buddies who egged me on to get a 10/22 and not spend $500 on a .22 rifle were completely surprised that they didn't have to aim high at 100 yd.

I completely recommend this rifle.
>>
>>33510244
About 8.25 pounds with no optic and unloaded. A Holosun is only 4 oz.
