Can any AR pistol fags out there explain to me why you own one?
for fun
>>33491393
Probably people wanting an SBR without the hassle.
>>33491393
Because I wanted one.
>>33491393
>why you own one?
Because I wanted it and had the money at the time.
>>33491458
But is it really worth the money though?
>>33491483
Is anything?
>>33491495
I mean I hear what you're saying but if its that big and you can't fire it from the shoulder...whats the point?
>>33491528
If you mount the sights further forward on the AR in op's pic you can shoulder it with a cheek weld somewhere around the charging handle.
>>33491427
This AR makes it even easier to shoulder.

As many reasons as there are people that own them, philosophically.
Fun to shoot, cheap ammo, familiar platform with amazing aftermarket supply, can be SBR'd, SIG-brace, looks cool, 9mm versions can be cool.
If you're wondering about the combat effectiveness and plasability of high-level use such as SWAT or Olympic Shooting, it would be a shit choice.
You can take this entire thread and apply it to convertibles, big cars, motor bikes and very high-end (or extremely budget or grossly outdated) computer gear. People like niche, cool shit.

cheap to shoot, fun, like the look
>>33491427
Where is your front sight
>>33492216
URX II has the front sight built into the rail.

honestly i'd never buy one. it's weight and size make it a pretty terrible pistol, the lack of a true stock makes it a pretty terrible rifle. they are essentially a range toy only.
not that i have anything against range toys. i've always thought a mares leg would be fun.
One real world advantage is that , in some locales, you can legally carry a pistol loaded in your vehicle but not a rifle.
9mm ones are a hoot.
>>33491393
what scenarios would an ar pistol be the best weapon in? newguns serious question
>>33491393
fun and why the fuck not?

I'm wanting to build one in 300 memeout as a camping/truck gun. Also, I eventually want to get an SBR and some suppressors, so all I'd have to buy are the stamps and a can whenever I decided that I'm cucked enough to buy my rights back.

>buy rights back

I don't own one but I think they are too cute desu.
