Why did spitzer replace round nose bullets, while round nose bullets are shaped like a penis and thus optimised for penetration by nature?
>>33488746
Elliot Spitzer liked penetrating things so much he considered the air we breathe.
>>33488746
its about aerodynamics not hydrodynamics.
>>33488746
You are now aware that dog dicks are spitzer-shaped.
A thread died for this.

It probably wasn't worth it if it didn't have enough interest to stay bumped

Because circumcision became trendy
>>33488765
Same thing
>>33489732
Not the same.
Aerodynamics is what the projectile has to get through on it's way to the target. Hydrodynamics is the last few inches after reaching the target.
If you don't get the aero right, you don't have enough energy left for the other stuff.
>>33489765
Aerodynamics uses the Same hydrodynamic equations, just the parameters are different

/pol/ was right again.

That was a nice post the first 10 times I read ones like it. Now it's as tired and played out as "is x a meme"

The real answer is that the narrower shape is still more ideal than the rounded nose shape. There is a reason that ships (including submarines) have bows that taper to a narrow point. They simply aren't shaped that way all the way around because the don't have to spin.
Long round bullets tend to just make clean holes through people.
