I love the p'kal, but it isn't the knife I'd recommend if you want an edc knife that doubles as a defensive blade.
While usable for everyday tasks, it feels awkward in standard blade out holds.
I strictly carry it as a defensive blade on my off side. hence the second blade for practical cutting tasks.

I've used both, but prefer the rubber. It is very thin, but sufficiently grippy, certainly more-so than the polymer of the frame. Not sure how it compares to the Jericho, but I'd say it is more grippy with sweaty hands than a Hogue grip.

I like the sandpaper one a lot, but it was too abrasive on my clothes for CC.

ayyys are cheap and flimsy, the plastic they use is cheap so it's thicker than it should be, it also doesn't vacuum form well so the gun can shift in the holster, the clips are fragile compared to better brands.

Will it work? Sure, but "good enough" is not a good philosophy and gear designed to be used in the most extreme of circumstances.

It's a quick draw holster, they're popular for buck 110's. When you draw the knife, it pops open. The sheath is designed to hold the knife partially open and then open it as you draw.

Just got my first holster. Blue Line Concealment IWB. Wearing it between 4 and 5 oclock is comfy as fuck.

Drunks, panhandlers, and ex-girlfriends. Every fight you get into while carrying has a gun involved. You get to grappling with somebody and your shirt rides up, they're probably going to try to get a hold of your gun. You're now at a point where lethal force is permitted and arguably necessary. It's also a situation that probably could have been prevented with good positioning and a face full of pepper spray.

Additionally, pepper spray is not a tool that's likely to cause death or great bodily harm, and thus not lethal force. A firearm is always considered lethal force. The thresholds for when you get to use those two are very different, and one has a lot more leeway than the other does for when use is acceptable. So no, situation allows for OC spray =/= allows to go to guns.

TL;DR: it's a nice middle ground between harsh language and shooting them in the face.

Aliengear is alright. the shell exchange program is pretty nice if you're like me and armslist trade/buy/sell handygats frequently to try new things. that being said having had nicer holsters they definitely(imho) fall into a sufficient but not ideal category.

I got it mostly to serve as a deterrent before I draw my gun. Basically for raving sheboons or highschool 'teens' on the train. It's not meant to stop a actual attacker, since I'd just go straight for my pistol at that point.

Why carry two P320/P250? The weight of the compact is 1.61 pounds and the weight of the subcompact is 1.56 pounds. So many better and lighter options for a backup gun. Also your backup gun is a 40. I prefer a small 380 as backup. That said I do love both the P320 and the P250. I typically only carry them while hiking though.

I carry a knife more for utility reasons, much like a military combat knife the infantryman never uses while using his bayonet to open cans or dig for traps. In civilian life a sharp knife could be used to cut off a seatbelt from a submerged car or to cut off an arm when pinned under a rock like the true movie dude. Plus it does make a person feel better to know they have some sort of secondary weapon in case their Glock explodes, at least they die with a knife in the left hand and not on their knees begging for mercy.

With all the different designs and shapes they come in, I would suggest looking around for something you're willing to carry. I just went with a cheap and solid spinner to help with my smoking habit and light fidget problem. I can say it's quieter than opening/closing my knife or zippo. I haven't had it long, so i'm no spinner enthusiast or anything.

I used to carry behind the hip, but now I carry appendix 100% of the time. Here's a pic I took just now. Been carrying it in the VG2 almost every day, in Texas. No undershirt, so yeah it gets sweaty, but not crazy bad. It's not like I wear it IWB while doing yard work or anything.
