I think we ended up agreeing on some $20 a set, (top and trousers) but because I just got everything, he agreed on $80 for the whole box, plus whatever other goodies he throws in there.

Idk how I much I paid per item, it was all just a running total. Ended up at like $300ish for everything. Range and class belt so yeah. I had it ziptied to the inner belt for a while which looked retarded. It shipped late and stayed in my mailbox for like a week in -20 and didn't want to sit on the velcro when I cinched it down to my size so I just ziptied it down and left it for 2 weeks. Works great now, though.

Airsoft gear has a habit of not using proper materials or if they do then the man hours and skill put into cutting sewing and making the shit results in crappy fit, lose webbing, absolutely garbage stitching maybe gone over once with dollar store thread, not double layering materials (like how a lot of pc's use double or triple layered 500/1000D for plate bags and main structural points) or just being terrible designs that don't fit well.

So airsoft brand combat clothing isn't no drip no melt, airsoft brand lbe has shit stitching for the most part or doesn't use actual quality materials, and otherwise just crappy manufacturing.

I have one. The thing about the triple mag pouch is that it keeps them from sliding around once you remove a mag. With 3 in there they'll stay in place but with only 2 they're gonna shift some on you and not be consistent for those fast reloads.

plus without an insert the retention will be nonexistent if you get inverted.

I have one. It's good if you got it cheap or free. I dont know why ppl think its complicated, takes a few minutes to assemble and you can set it up to attach to your pc in a few minutes.

Its great if you attach it to your plate carrier. As a standalone chest rig, it's okay. That is mainly due to the thin straps that can dig into your shoulders if you're not used to it.

I'm in the same boat, but it depends on what you want. Any of the Tyr or Ronin or whatever belts will accept traditional belt mounted stuff as well as molle/PALS mounting as well so it comes down to choice of holster.

I'm a big fan of taco's on belt because it means you're not fucking around with flaps or anything retarded and you probably shouldn't be looking at your belt line when reloading to figure stuff out so quick and easy for belts is gtg.

Esstac pouches, taco's and anything kydex are stiff enough to use comfortably at the belt line and be fast with good retention. But that's just how I go about it.
