But .204 Ruger is actually an incredible round.

32gr VMAX going 4200 fps was the fastest commercially loaded ammo in existence until they started loading 24gr .204 at 4400+ fps.

With that velocity you get some insane ballistics. The 32gr are only dropping 13" at 400y and still going almost 2300 fps.

The terminal effect of a super expansive bullet going that fast is pretty grisly on small animals. Full on gore explosions.

It's also really accurate. I recently shot a 5/8" group at 150y.

.300 BLK is a meme round but .204 is based AF and it's a way better performer than .223/5.56 and pretty much equals or beats .22-250 with less recoil, less muzzle blast, and less barrel wear.
