Hey /k/, does anyone have an animation or detailed explanation etc. for how casket magazines work? I can only find basic pics that don't actually explain anything and I've been looking for a few days now. Surprised to not have found anything, even helical magazines bring up a lot more material than this.
The casket magazine contains a tiny, but still extremely spooky skeleton, who pushes the bullets into the firearm. Hence the name.
It goes without saying that casket magazines are non-user serviceable.

So you know how those double-sided drum magazines work? It's basically that but you replace the drums with double stacks magazines.

I thought it was a team of tiny skeletons?
You know like it takes three of them to push each round up and out.
I kinda want one.
...Until I remember I can buy 10 Pmags for the cost of one Surefire and still have $10 left over.

I feel fucking retarded now that it seems so simple.
Thanks for the help though. Britbong and nogun (until I go through that long ass process) so I'll probably never get to get any irl experience with this stuff. Thanks for clearing that up though.

the Com-bloc designs typically use three tiny skeletons
Western designs use a single slightly larger skeleton

It's two double stack magazines that have feed geometry such that they form a third double stack of ammo that then feeds into the gun.
