Is there a VEPR .223 pioneer (non-thumbhole, "sporter" stock) that has a ~16.5 inch barrel?

I held a mini 14 and a VEPR .223 with a 24 (?) inch barrel. I'm leaning towards the mini since the barrel is much shorter.

I like VEPRs but they're so ugly

I love the shotgun/rpk as-is, but I'd prefer they made their other intermediate caliber rifles on regular stamped receivers and barrels that weren't so pointlessly thick.
