Trigger reset is horrible but it's trigger pull is good. And it's very reliable (about 900-1100 rounds through mine without a malfunction)

Handled one at a gun shop recently. Grip felt small/weird compared to my 226 and some other nitpicks. Trigger felt really close/probably the same. Would make a good functional budget gun, just didn't fit my hands/preferences.

I fucking love mine. But don't fall for the 40. like I did, get the 9mm instead. But all in all its a very nice gun.

It's an ok entry pistol but is not a glock alternative. It's a DA/SA trigger with an external hammer. Who ever started the meme is a moron. I didn't like mine since hold was on center instead of 6. Sold and got a CZ P07 instead to have a DA/SA.

If you want a legit alternative, wait for the P 10C to come out. Actually fits some G19 holsters.

25 yards. I had the sp 2022FDE with factory night sights. Was going to use it for my Winchester NRA Pistol badges since everyone else uses a glock or be old and use 1911's.

sooo uh look at the sights of the sp2022. uhhh windage is all you can do unless you want to spend more on a mid priced gun to smith it or replace sights.

Didn't want to spend the time retraining myself on trying to be accurate with a sight alignment that covers the whole 9" plate. Combat sight point is good for defensive shootings so that's out the window when your shooting for badges and competition.

I shoot factory limited so can't replace or over modify. Modifying tritium sights was not an option for me. Don't want to mess with that stuff.

I wanted to try something new without committing a grand for a new p226 and didn't want another striker fire but not a 1911. Slim choices for a mid priced gun.
