it's not "metal" in the traditional sense, and a lot can take a bit of getting used to (vocals have a wide range and tend to be on the harsh side), not to mention that each album has it's own personality, and there's kind of a lot.

if you want /k/ related stuff, start with "kiss the pig". personally i prefer "temple of the morning star" and "in the eyes of god" and the older stuff, but my favorite (and it's an epic, eclectic mess) is "sadness will prevail".

Virtually all intro music is terrible, even if the music itself is fine when it's a full song. There's no reason for intro music shit or other over-produced crap on a youtube video. The simple, clean ones are the best.

Phil is based and should do more guest vocals for TAS, predator never prey was such a great song he did guest vocals on

Steve Asheim, drummer of Deicide is a big gun guy. I remember watching the bonus footage from the Scars of The Crucifix CD and he was showing off his shotguns and AR-15s.

Surprisingly progun despite his other endeavors of wine making and art. Was a forward observer in the army before going to West point prep school.

You could argue the genre not being metal, but he's just a favorite musician of mine.

Eagles of Death Metal aren't metal at all, but Josh Homme played guitar for Kyuss who is sorta metal and Queens of the Stone Age, while not metal, are a very solid rock group.

That being said Homme is super libertarian and has a few guns. Jesse Hughes is an outspoken pro-trump gun person.

And he would be...his band was the one playing in the auditorium that those sbackbars shot up in Paris.

Along with a shotgun. That was 2013. They no longer have any firearms.

Since then he has made videos saying it's impossible to grow vegetables where he lives without an existing forest on his land. It's completely untrue. It's easy to supplement his soil ad provide shade (if needed) by using food waste, grass clippings, or many other organic compounds found for free in every country.

He also has made a video about "hunting" recently; which featured him just walking on a trail during the middle of the day. That is not a valid way to hunt. He should be staked out before dawn and watching from cover. His European ancestors, that he brags about, knew this. He has NEVER hunted.

I don't hate the guy but he should do more listening and do less talking about these subjects if he's going to promote them.
