Anyone have a gun buying addiction?
How do you cope and control it?
>impulse bought a sig mcx
>financial problems since then
>sold it
>now almost bought another rifle
>always window shopping for a gun
>walk out feeling like a crack addict
I literally have not stopped thinking about guns since I got mine for Christmas. It's debilitating
you just have poor money management skills.
I'm no expert but I went from being in debt to having 25k in my account in 1.5 years while also going on vacations and buying guns.
You need to prioritize, pay bills, work out what you need for food, gas, ect.
Then the money you have left you save for a while.
It's going to suck, but living on the edge of homelessness to buy guns you can't afford to shoot or trick out is worse.
Just save money and try to get a better job.

>lol I make six figures it's so easy
Yes, OP. I know this addiction.
>have a decent job for my area at $30k/yr
>middle of nowhere but land is fucking $3000 an acre of shitty blackland
>had to move back in with family
>continuously buy guns and ammo because I can't save money
>only have about $5k in my savings account in case anything goes south such as a major vehicle repair or some shit
>fucking salivate over a gun and order it
>start salivating over another gun before the previous one even arrives at my FFL
>can't stop buying AR magazines from PSA when those deals come down the line
>had 10 AR lowers stacked in the closet for the election but sold all but 2 of them to friends after trump got elected
>have huge buyers remorse on a .300 blk rifle build because I don't wanna pay .40 cents per round for plinking ammo
At least I'm hitting the gym 4 times a week and preparing for the upcoming collapse of society.
Here's something for all yall
Had a period of time where I would compulsively buy magazines
I probably buy something AR15 related once every two weeks
I can stop anytime I want!
In all seriousness, I do Find my constant planning for new builds to be a bit troublesome, but only about once a year do I actually follow through on an urge and actually order everything to put it together.
Seems like I typically build an AR in the spring, then buy a new handgun end of the summer
Had to stop buying guns cause I really wanna buy a house
In the past 3 months I've bought like 8 guns and its a painful joy.
The only reason I'm fine on money right now is that I've almost exclusively bought good deals on dinky older m&p things that don't run me much, and I had spent the previous 4 months pretending to be a poorfag with how little I spent on stuff.
But I worry for myself when my list finally reached the HKs and such.

>wife gets sick
>sell guns to cover medical expense
>lose both in the end
Maybe it's the association and losing both at the same time, but I have been feeling wary of buying guns lately.

Doesn't cover getting a job making more than minimum wage

Damn /k/omrade...Im sorry to hear this.
I've bought one gun every year since I bought my first one
I intend to maintain this trend

You get impulse control, just calm down and think of what else you should be saving for

If you arent saving for the collapse of social security which is far more likely youre doing it wrong.
