It's not green. If there were no photons present you wouldn't be able to see the color. That's just a wavelength of light if there was no photon it'd be black.

This is only true while painting in physical media, where colors are subtractive, but in digital media (and in physics) colors are additive, so white is technically /all/ colors.

But even that's a massive oversimplification.
