Not really it's understandable I also have this feeling although to lesser degree.

When handling and using lightweight ar15 it do feel fun and pleasant. But there's uncomfortable irking in back of my head, a sense of uneasiness. It come from idea, when I would need to use such rifle for defense. LW rifle in my hand feel like it could fail or break easily. On separation point there's also this knowledge in my mind about LW barrel get hotter faster and when it get hot the bore wear accelerate per shot vs cooler bore of heavier barrel due to heat transferring away from bore to outer section of the barrel.

when handling LW I feel like I could snap it half over my knee easily. (although I know this is not effortless or heavier barrel would in any way remedy this)

Just went shooting with my lefty antifun sister today. Taught her the basics and the 4 rules of firearm safety. The difference between a clip and magazine. Explained that the AR 15 did not stand for 'assault' or 'automatic'. How it is a relatively light semi-automatic rifle used for general purpose and self defense but wasn't some big scary AK-47 baby killer death rod.

Shot placement was complete shit but at least she walked away from it with a positive experience. Now she is interested in getting a carry pistol.

m193 does great for wounding when shot out of 1/12 its barely stable in flight. But it's accuracy is dog shit due to inconsistent of loading plus being reject hence the X in XM193. you can expect 2-3moa.

buy quality loaded 55gr like geco for example sure it doesnt have m193 profile bullet with thinner jacket but you will be getting better consistency with it.

but if it is for defensive dont. buy 55gr golddot period.
