If we accept that the way they're treating Large Cap Mags is representative of how they might treat RAWs, then confiscation wouldn't be the method they'd come after us. There are two types of RAWs in CA. Those banned by name, and those banned by feature. If CA decided to go after RAWs, the likely method would be to request that RAWs be brought to conform to the law. For RAWs by name, they would have to be sold out of state, destroyed, or surrendered. For RAWs by feature, you could do any of those, or convert them to featureless and deregister them.

If you didn't wish to comply, you could claim you destroyed the firearm, sold it out of state, or in the case of a feature AW, converted it, while still retaining it. California wouldn't be able to prove you did not do this, so they would be unable to obtain a search warrant to look for it. You wouldn't be able to use the firearm in public anymore, but you would be able to keep it (in violation of state law) without state goons breaking down your door and shooting your dog.

There's further reason to believe that would be how the state would handle it. CA has police that go around to houses of convicted felons they have records of having owned firearms, knock on the door, and ask if there are any firearms in the house. If the person answers yes, then they get a warrant, and come back for a search. If the person answering the door doesn't say yes, they fuck off, because they can't prove shit.

Though for anyone going with the CQR stock here are some things about it you should be aware of

-Grip is really narrow. If you're used to using larger grips like the ERGO line or something like that, it's definitely more narrow than that.

-LOP is kinda short, it's definitely shorter than my Magpul ACS that I used to have on it. keep that mind when using it.

-The cheekweld is non-exsitant on it. If you're using an optic, you'll probably have to re-adjust the positioning of your optic.

-It's light as hell. Like really light. Feels like re-enforced kydex. If you've got a front heavy weapon it'll unbalance it. Still, overall I'm happy with it. It's a fun fuck-around gun.
