Heats up fast and then it only has two locking lugs I think, so lockup isn't necessarily as consistent as it could be (you could get consistent lockup with two lugs, but it's easier with more, see any rifle with a Stoner style radial bolt head). People keep posting this. I have both and prefer the OG Tavor. Every time I take it shooting people prefer the Tavor. The AUG is great if you have to switch barrels. I never do. The only reason I keep the AUG is to have a well rounded collection.
