Bass pro had tons of boxes for like $5 each, winchester brand. I bought a box for the heck of it, pic related.
Do what these other fags said, or order online.

Ask for them?
Eley .40 subsonic HPs are the best.

I never liked these, out of a CZ or Anschutz anyway, poor groups compared to RWS or Eley, Lapua.
I can get them at the local hardware store here. My friends uncle owns the place, but he charges stupid high prices for everything.

Ah. I haven't tried them yet, and my only .22 is a Henry rifle so I have a feeling they'll be not that great. I really like .22 shorts, because I can fit like 20 something in the tube mag and they're super quiet. But I haven't seen .22 shorts in years.
My favorite exotic .22kr ammo was pic related. Super quiet, huge bullet. It's literally a .22 short case with a giant bullet that makes the overall cartridge the size of a .22lr round. Sadly I haven't seen these in forever either, not even sure if they're made anymore. They also keyholed really badly from my henry. Since they're so heavy you almost need a gun with a dedicated twist rate just for these.

You mean .22 short? You fucking go and buy them. Goddamn, bruh. Stop over complicating things.

>that subject line
I use Aguila. My grandfather had some CCI brand shorts that were nice. He also had some super high velocity shorts that I can't find anymore. CCI brand.
aguila colibri is a nice meme round.

>Thinking this is bait
Negro please. Just type in ".22 subsonic" into google and see what comes up, you don't even have to drag your autistic ass down to the local store. They'll ship it right to your fucking doorstep.

while on the subject, anyone know where can buy some .22 jetfire ammo.?
Yes that is an actual cartridge.
>>33436227
These don't stabalise in most rifles barrel twist leaving them keyhole. They need a barrel with a faster rifling twist to stabalise them.
Stating the obvious .22 short and .22lr subsonic are not the same thing.
Further .22lr subsonic solids are the most target shooting round on the planet

It's a .22 short.
OP here what would be the most silent rifle to fire these subsonic bullets? New to guns
You should be able to find it just about anywhere, even Walmart. .22LR sold as target ammunition is going to be subsonic.
Now, if you really want to be quiet, you want .22 CB Shorts. Fired out of a .22LR rifle, it makes less noise than a pellet gun. It's much less commonly seen in stores, though. Ordering online is the best bet.
