Spend the money on a good pair of shoes and learn to run fast instead

Buck 119 Special.
>6" blade
>full tang
>light weight
>versatile clip point, no memes
>good grip
>comes with a decent scabbard
>~$45-$50 at Wally-world, IIRC
>420HC stainless is easy to put an edge on, holds it fairly well and doesn't corrode
>blade geometry is great
There's no other way to buy as much knife for as little money.
I love my 119 so much I use it in the kitchen, often.

For clarification, the 119 is the knife on top. Below it is the 102 (feels like a steak knife, desu), and on the bottom, the110, the best folding pocket knife.

Any Buck.

My EDC, Buck Folding Skinner. Love the weight and it opens like butter. Less than 50 on Amazon.

This. Nobody wins a knife fight.

What if the opponent doesn't have a knife?
>>33430822
Then he either has a gun or you will go to prison for using a knife on an unarmed person. Only women get a pass there, sometimes.

>self defense edc
>a knife
Do you intend to go on safari or raiding lost tombs? Either way, get a gun instead.
>>33430521
Or you could have checked the catalog... that would have worked too. Probably would have gotten you better answers from people who really like knives.

I edc a 1911 guys, I just like having a knife and want to move from folding to full tang for reliability.
Thank you for the suggestions so far, keep em coming.

eka nordic t12 on amazon for 71 bucks atm
all these are kind of too big for edc. buy one anyways but keep that in mind. you'll need some custom sheath action and large clothing to make any of these work for edc.
Just found this guy:
Buck Knives 0690BKSTP TOPS / Buck CSAR-T Fixed Blade Tactical Knife
Seems like a perfect size for me.
Any thoughts?

this OP. where the fuck are you that you can OC a bigass knife but cannot carry a gun?
>>33434241
Yeah I was playing with a ruler and I dont think I can pull off anything over 10" without printing issues.
I work with kydex and leather so custom sheath is a non issue.
The Buck / TOPS I just posted seems to fit the bill, anyone ever use one?

Oregon, I do carry a pistol but like having a backup.
