These go for 60 bucks on sale picked one up for giggles. It's fine. It folds up which is neat. Makes for an okay "truck gun" if you're into that. And that's about it.

I've got the $226 semi auto and I have no regrets. Fucking sweet. Comes with two different person heads, one for heavy shot one for light. I think I've put about 500 rounds of bird shot through it. 3 hang ups, I think due to me being a lefty and pushing the safety.

I bought one for the lulz. The comb is waaaay too high to sight quickly. It worked pretty well, ate a lot of types of ammo. It has a built in modified choke. The trigger pull is pretty heavy. The folding feature is pretty handy imo.

All in all I like it.

The thing about shotguns is they don't need to be as accurate as say taking something with a 308 at 500 yards

If its for hunting you often do need more than one shot to drop a grouse or pigeon. sometimes its nice to have brake, pump, or semi.

Trigger pull is like 6 pounds on these. I just bought an H&R single shot for $80 and the trigger pull felt like three pounds, plus it has an ejector and from what I've heard that Hatfield doesn't.

H&R's have went up and they aren't making them anymore. There's a copy that goes by "Pointer" but they're expensive and IIRC they're made in China or Turkey.

I am seeing single shot H&R's in certain calibers command $150+ nowadays.
