Americans tend to act as the fox in the "sour grapes" thing when they see this rifle being talked about.

Theyre kawaii guns, I love the feel of pulling the charging handle on them.
Hey, are there any good swiss sites for milsurp uniform/gear collecting? As an american, its hard to find info on even the most basic shit, and our market is really shit outside a few newer things that were recently imported, I've never been able to sauce a first world war tshako cover or gas mask hose for example.
How is the M1 Carbine underrated OP whole books have been written about it and it has a huge collector base, if any thing it's over rated you stupid pole smoker
>>33419678
Some of those pixels look a little off
>>33419708
Autism the post
These are really light and handy x39 guns, but the outside milling is kind of rough. No one gives them much cred since theyre egyptian, but mine is a surprisingly accurate and reliable rifle, even with wolf.
For when you absolutely, positively need to CC high brass slugs.
>>33419678
Illegitimate and homosexual.
This is another really nice shooter. Battle rifle? Maybe not, but on the range its nice. The canadians experience in WWI ruined it for everyone else ever though, kind of like how the AR's reputation after vietnam followed it.
The bolts on rosses are very smooth, I'm a big straight pull autist, and they beat out swiss and austrian rifles.
I really like the gimmick feature of the lever on the side you can hold down to detension the follower so you can just drop rounds in the mag with no issue, then release the lever and you have your pressure holding the rounds in place. Also great triggers.
Pretty much when this thing came out, everyone should have just threw their AKs away and bought one. For a while, century was making them for absurdly cheap and 4chan fell in love. Then, both the cheap rifles dried up and >its fucking century happened, and everyone forgot about them.
Its so much higher quality manufacturing to an AK, the ceramic finish is not dissimilar to a Sig 550, but they're also really ergonomic rifles, with nifty features like a clip guide and, idk a bho (who would have thought that was useful?), detent pins for field stripping, while still being more accurate and lighter than an AK.
If I had to operate in CQB environments, a CZ58 might be my go-to, just because of how light and pointable they are. And the locking block and striker firing is real fucking neato.
Paired up with the VZ58, the CZ82/83. The finish quality is dogshit, frankly, they tried some fancy new paint in the 80s that just didn't work out. But under that, is a very comfortable in the hand, almost fully ambi pistol, (everything but slide release) which offers all the bells and whistles of a western gun, like double stack mags, big high contrast sights, and a slide release lever, while retaining eastern pricing and classic CZ75 charm.
My 82 can make multiple hits on a can at 125 yards per magazine, with fucking 30 year old Norinco. I can not do that with any other pistol I own. Call it what you will.
So if you want to be a CZ fanboy, you can pick one up in 380 for 200-something still as a backup to your 75.

Ask a fudd about them and suddenly they turn into .22's that couldn't reach 100ft, then watch them masturbate about how pic related was somehow good.

>>33419717

I know this is a hooker post but I might as well bump the thread.
There is a difference, and the difference specifically matters for any gun that has a detachable box magazine that can also be loaded via stripper clip.
>>33423206
I appreciate the engineering and machining that went into that but holy crap is it ugly. Like they purposefully made it ugly as possible for some reason.
>>33424442

Or if it's just a troll
>>33424442
except almost no military bolt action rifle and most semiautomatic rifles weren't issued with more than one magazine so your retarded scenario doesn't even make much sense in that regard.
The Taurus 809c 9mm. Never a misfire. Easy to clean. Impossible to find mags 17 rd mags (looking to 3d printing). Cheap. Reliable. Feels good to hold.

Well... A1 sights did kinda suck though. Not saying I don't like them, but they're harder to use.
The A3 did improve upon it, and provided a longer sight base, thus improving (theoretical) accuracy.

>>33423785
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
objectively the most underrated gun in existence, phenomenally few people are even aware of its existence despite being a full production firearm used in WWII
>>33419768
I almost bought one of these when I was shopping for AKs and AK variants. Only thing that killed it for me was A) I absolutely HATED the furniture on it and B) The only ones that were available to me when I was shopping around were the ones with the folding wire stocks which were super uncomfortable and kind of wobbly. In the end I settled for a WASR-10, which gets a lot shit, but it's never let me down in terms of reliability.
>>33425129
You're on a board specifically dedicated to discussing guns. So it's generally accepted that you should use the right terms to refer to different components.
It would be like going on /v/ and calling a d-pad the arrow keys. Or something to that effect.
>>33422375
