So I went to a gun range for the first time today. What does /k/ think of my shot grouping? (The gun was an AR-15 chambered in 7.62 x 51)

>no sot count
>no measurement
>no distance
>no optic
>no specific ammo
I'm completely unable to think anything about it

Woah. You have the worlds first ar15 chambered in a 7.62x51 round did you machine it yourself this is most impressive
>>33415577
10 meters away
The grid is 10 x 15 square inches
Iron sights
10 shots
I didn't see what type of ammo it was

Custom machined by my friend who works at the range.

I'm glad you had fun anon, keep at it!
Absurdly windy today, could not shoot a decent FAST to save my life.
Shot a 269 on the FBI instructors qualifier the other day, wanna farm some groups because I think I can do better.
>those to errant rounds
Not looking promising.
ACTUALLY, op, that's an AR-10. 7.62x51 wouldn't even fit in an AR-15 magwell.

That's fine OP. Take the target further out next time and see how you do!

For a first time shooter, not bad. You're on paper, which is better than I can say for some of the people I've dealt with. Give it a try at 100 yards some time and take your time. Doen't matter if it takes you 20 minutes to squeeze out 10 rounds. Building proper technique from the ground up is the best way to improve quickly. Start slow, but correct and you can work on speed later.

>his AR-15 can't chamber 7.62 NATO
I can literally FEEL the poverty emanating from this post.

First time? Eh, not bad. My first time, I barely hit the paper.
Keep in mind though, there are guys who can do 100 meters and get that grouping. But everyone has to start somewhere.
