Machine Elves Edition
Just got these. Everyone knows what Norwegian camo looks like, but what the flip is the other one?
Souf 'Efrican?
>>33411145
Yea.
>>33411461
Any idea on how much it's worth?
>>33411145
Thats a 32nd battalion shirt. The one you have is the wet season variant.
>>33412396
like $40-50
>>33412395
>>33412448
I bought this a few days ago: http://www.ebay.com/itm/382002908119?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
I usually see them listed for $100+ but I don't think they sell.
>waiting impatiently for second plash palatka
I hope the wood toggles are better then the plastic bullshit ones on my first
>>33412670
I revise that to $60-70 then.
Just got this
Anyone got a GR10 Fleck Parka that can give me a width measurement across the back just under the armpits? I know they tend to run big to accommodate the liner and other layers I need to know how big.
>>33413548
That's not PECOC is it?
>>33413765
>That's not PECOC is it?
Nah, Middle eastern.
>>33413765
>>33413985
Most likely Omani.
My summer Wz89 came in today with three pairs of rank slides. Two pair of Sergeant 1st class and one set of master sergeant.
Don't mind the Domkraft album... it also came in today.
Already had the parka... but why not throw slides on it?
>>33413985
Remarkably similar.
>>33414348
It's pretty much a copy of the 4 color dpm
>>33411145
What's the sizing like on the Norgie jacket?
Recently got my hands on an GDR NVA Colonel field jacket and hat with the new rank markings along with a flag patch on the jacket. I think it was used for going abroad.
>>33411145
cool
Id suck someones dick for a norwegian goretex top.
>>33416755
Nice, got any pics?
I only have this one picture of the flag being worn.
>>33416755
I'd be interested in seeing a picture as well. That sounds like a neat piece.
>>33411145
>South African camo in the northern-most baltic state
Explicit subjective proof that white flight is real.
Also, how's the situation with refugees in Estonia?
>>33411145
Are you selling the South African one on the right?
>>33415947
54-56 K, equivalent to an XL.
>>33418953
Brown people of various sorts used to be a very uncommon sight (you could go months without encountering any), now I see them every time I step out the door.
>>33419034
Maybe.
>>33417380
Could it be the same jacket haha
I got it off a guy who had a lot of friends in the Warsaw Pact, ( He was in the Romanian Army in the 1980's)
>>33420545
country?
Guessing African
>>33420574
Iran Actually.
Got these in today.
>>33420426
Not bad.
>>33420268
Interested in the South African one.
Email me at [email protected]
>>33420268

>>33422306
Isn't the "K" for short? Norwegian is similar to German iirc and "kurz" means short.
>>33423042
I'm inclined to agree but in this case it doesn't seem like it.
The size is intended for someone 185cm tall (slightly above 6 feet) with a chest size of 110cm which puts it right around L-XL size
>>33423042
Kort is short in Norwegian.
>>33423065
I'm surprised at that, 54-56 K puts it on 165-175cm on my charts, but I think they're outdated for the more modern stuff sicne they stopped using numbers.
>>33411131
Hey guys I just picked up one of these jackets from the Finns
https://www.varusteleka.com/en/product/czech-parka-with-liner-olive-green-surplus/5757
Is there a way to look up a manual or even just basic advice on how to care for it? Mine is 100% unissued and I really would like to take good care of it. I plan on this being my main "beater" jacket for outdoors stuff and would like it to last, even if it cost very little to buy.
Also, what do I use to ensure it stays "water resistant"? Can I just use standard treatments that would work for a modern jacket or do I need to use something different? Sorry for the noob questions, this is the first proper milsurp jacket I've ever owned. All I've found is that it's a "polyester style" material so far.
Gotta say I really like it, fits great, nice pockets, lightweight, comfy, and I'm sure it'll be super warm once it finally becomes winter again (live in the south, so potentially never at this rate)
Thanks if anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it.
Hey friends, I assume this is the correct thread for this so dammit, I'm posting anyway.
Can anybody help me ID this?
Bought it at the flea market today for $8, the guy said it was a single-person tent, and for $8 I didn't bother opening it or anything.
Got home and opened it up, and looks like maybe it's just the rain-fly for a tent?
Looks to be DPM camo, so maybe it's just the rain-fly for a single-person pup tent?
Included was
>1x Carrying case for everything
>4x small metal poles
>5x tent stakes
>1x length of rope, about 8ft-ish long?
>1x case for poles, stakes, and rope
>1x canvas

you didn't get any fish cock to review for us?
>degenerate
>>33427271
I order shit from them to resell. Have bought the fish cock before. Will never buy it again.
Some of the nastiest goddamn shit I've ever had in my life. I think I'd rather eat actual fish cocks next time around.
>>33427271
No I've never heard of that. Did get some Scho-Ka-Kola though, really like it. Unfortunately they were out of dark so all I could get was milk chocolate. Next time I'll have to get some of both and see which is best.
>>33427243
Belgian Zeltbahn aka shelter half.
>>33427309
apparently you don't like fish or rye bread
>>33426942
>I want to take care of it
>I want it to be a beater jacket
Pick one
>>33427399
just because it's a beater doesn't mean I can't clean it a bit. I want it to be a beater for more than a couple of trips.
You don't completely ignore a set of beater boots without polishing them do you?
>>33427243
http://bushcraftusa.com/forum/threads/belgian-surplus-shelter.115376/
Basicly, it's so two soldiers can make a two person shelter. also it can be worn as a poncho.
>>33427411
Just wash it like you would anything else. It's milsurp, it's hardy shit, and it's OD so you don't have to worry about it fading. I've washed my Czech vz95 parka before. Take the liner out when you do it.
>>33427538
Wash it on cold and hang dry to avoid shrinking.
>>33427367
>>33427454
Damn, thats kinda cool, but I wish I had know it was only one half of the shelter.
That would explain why he had two of them, and I should've just bought both of them.
Might ride down next Saturday and see if the guy is still there and just buy the other half too.
Thanks senpai.
>>33427576
>>33427538
>>33427538
Thanks guys this was what I needed to know.
Also I'm a bit worried. These evil Finns and their cheap milsurp stuff might make me order again. How the hell do you guys resist perfectly good jackets for under $30 on there? Hell I can hardly find a good pair of jeans around here for that price.
>>33426533
Shiet, how much?
I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask, but I don't know where else to ask.
are reproductions of old milsurp stuff good quality, or is it generally just for people who are into reenacting and want the aesthetics?
>>33430009
>are reproductions of old milsurp stuff good quality,
usually repros are shit quality unless it costs a fuckload more than you think it should
>>33430013
>fuckload more than you think it should
it does to me, but I suppose "fuckload" is sorta subjective.
I think it retails for ~$90 + shipping. Still worried about the quality. Maybe I should just watch online auctions to try to find an original one in genuinely good condition.
>>33430009
>are reproductions of old milsurp stuff good quality, or is it generally just for people who are into reenacting and want the aesthetics?
It always depends on what company.

This is all I have to go off of. Very new to all of this shit, sorry.
>>33430104
Hikishop is well known for making their stuff out of very cheap materials (they do come straight from china with not the best quality control). Though I heard most of the times their stuff is decent quality, my advice would be to buy with caution.
>>33430009
I've got a Hessianantique sold Wehrmacht backpack, it's actually pretty good (for maximum efficient use of said pack, just look into shit actual wehrmacht troops did with theirs).
>>33411131
YOU GUYS ARE JUST LARPING
>>33427788
$32.98 shipped :^)
How to pay for combined shipping on ebay?
I pressed on "Request total" for a few products from sfrankish which takes me to the Request page.
But after pressing the "Commit to buy & submit request" takes me to an error page saying that "The seller does not offer combined shipping discounts."
This is bollocks since the store page does mention: "If buying more than one item, please ask for combined shipping before making any payment."
Is this an eBay bug? Or should I rather message the seller directly if I want a total?
>>33432567
>>33432567
It's a bug cause eBay is shite. Message the seller.
Works about half of the time.
>>33432567
Alistair will refund you the excess for shipping. He's a decent fella, does it all the time for me because combined shipping feature is broken.
Sauce on this uniform
Prob based on wehrmacht
>>33435813
Modified Wehrmacht M43 I believe
Did they ever make an afghanka-style jacket in Digiflora?
Also: where can I grab a cheap ($20) OD M65. I know they're out there.
>>33438016
I found this
>http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Russia-army-WINTER-PARKA-JACKET-camo-digital-flora-WITH-FUR-COLLAR-/262510692307
>>33438433
Neat. Wonder if it's legit.
Also wayyyy too expensive.
