>This triggers the gun grabbers.
>overpriced
>out of stock everywhere
Ruger has the cuck state market with the Mini 14.
>>33409012
>overpriced
Being a no taste poorfag must be suffering. I can't imagine only owning glocks and walmart trash
>>33409051
>fake matech
>fake vltor bipod
>that optic
>>>>>Calling anyone else a poorfag
KYS desu
>>33409051
This is strangely satisfying.
>>33409087
They're not fake anon :)
The bipod is actually a Tangodown.
Red dot is just some cheapo red dot because i don't typically use a red dot.
>>33409012
>Back in production as Fightlite
>out of stock
Can't even bother to do a Google search, eh?
>>33409051
It is overpriced though, a Walmart trash AR for the price of something decent because of a meme stock. Just because something is inexpensive doesn't mean it can't be overpriced.
>>33409136
I know that, anime boy. FightLite brand SCR is still out of stock everywhere though. The limited numbers help them keep their inflated profit margin.
Sorry OP but there's a new kid in town...
>>33408992
>living anywhere that owning a semiautomatic rifle is controversial
Why?
>>33408992
>>33409261
I kinda want that stock without the thumb cuck plate
For that spess gun vibe
Has Ares ever made anything that isn't just press demo hype and expense. Between this and their beltfed upper, they're like a shittier keltec.
>>33411681
Is this b8?
Can you find any malfunction or defect report?
Are you just salty people don't mind paying for a unique take on an old design?
>>33411655
https://www.hera-arms.com/kopie-von-triarii
>>33409261
How the fuck do you hold this thing?
>>33408992
If you've got one of those and haven't put wood on it, you're doing it wrong.
Anything with a black synthetic stock and pistol grip scares gun grabbers honestly
>>33412049
>Designed for the cilian market as well as LE/Military...
>cilian
What the fuck's a "cilian"?
>>33409261
Ugly as sin in comparison tbqh. Spacegun is a meme aesthetic that you'll be embarrassed by in 10 years.
>>33412066
I don't understand why plastic stocks and pistol grips trigger anti-gunners so much.
>>33412062
You remove the thumbplate.
>>33408992
Why do I want one so bad?
>>33412072
Abbreviation for ”Sicilian”. They're marketed towards mafiosi.
>>33412099
Ah, that makes much more sense.
>>33408992
I cna imagine a wooden MonteCarlo Stock with this modified SLR handguard
>>33412158
That would look really good.
>>33412158
Anon, where's the charging handle on that rifle?
>>33412233
Double action trigger. Pulling the trigger pulls the bolt backwards, then drops it.
>>33412253
Oh. Never knew that exist for ARs. Thanks
>>33412277
>>33412253
I... don't think that's right.
>>33412233
>>33412253
>>33412288
It's on the side
>>33409051
looks like a fallout 4 gun
>>33412158
>>33412064
where is the buffer tube?
>>33409012
LGS in NY has like 3 available for ~$850-900 IIRC
>>33412930
Thats the beauty of the SCR, it doesn't need a buffer tube
>>33412930
It has a unique bolt design so it doesn't use a traditional buffer tube. The recoil spring is down through the grip.
>>33412921
Needs a low-profile gas block and full length handguard.
>>33412930
>>33412980
>>33412992
>>33412565
Unlike a fallout 4 gun, that might actually be practical.
>>33412090
What's the purpose of the thumbplate in the first place?
>>33413524
To make it California-legal.
>>33412980
>>33413045
How can this mechanism be patented? I've seen this sort of design before.
US 8,397,623 B2
>>33412064
God, I want one but no one sells one around here.
>>33409051
You should put a Wood handguard on that.
A wood A1 Triangle handguard on that would look SEX
>>33414111
I can see liking this but only a wood stock on it looks like hell.
>>33414175
Working on it. I used an 1100 stock set instead of an 870. I have the matching forend like pic related that i want to use.
I've been debating to either cut it up as rail panels or fabricate a way to mount it like a normal handguard and make a metal upper heatshield like some svt hybrid.
Juggling parts right now between different sight blocks/bayonet adapters.
>>33408992
Why do you need a sniper rifle anon
>>33409051
good god that thing is an abomination. If it had other wood furniture maybe you could make it somewhat decent but as it is now it looks like some hideous joke someone made in that fucking build a gun meme from a while back.
>>33414523
To kill niggers obviously
>>33409261
I saw an interview somewhere that pointed out how easy it was to remove the plate where your thumb would go, and then demonstrated the ease of putting it back on in case cucks show up
>>33412078
Good thing it's a AR and it can be changed at anytime.
>>33413674
>US 8,397,623 B2
Maybe it's because that patent holder is the safe person that owns the company that makes the SCR.
Just picked up mine today (lower only edition because free state)
Good : Muh Ae(rgo)sthet(nom)ics. I have always prefered "rifle" style grips to pistol grips and wanted an AR with one that doesn't have that thumbhole BS
Bad : Does not come with a complete bolt carrier group so now i have to buy another complete upper, bolt, and a mag stop (even though the "bolt carrier" came in the box RRRRRRREEEEEEEEE
<_< shit was way to expensive though DESU senpai, at least now i can make the American doesn't work as well and cost 4 times as much SKS that I have always wanted.
>>33415152
Anon.. that wasn't the issue the op was referring to.
It was how a rat tailed bolt could be patented considering the FAL did it before and any semi shotgun has the same setup.
>>33415359
Bolt carrier did come in the lower package though.
You might want to contact them.
Bolt stop being separate is pretty jew though, i did not like that part
>>33415459
Let me be more specific, the bolt carrier itself comes with it. However needing to purchase a separate firing pin, cam pin, and bolt make the carrier effectively useless if you were expecting to simply purchase a second upper and plot it on the lower using the included "bolt" to make the rifle function.
<_< unless someone really fucked up and i really do need to contact someone, but i feel like this is one of those things people are sweeping under the rug so they can say "this $600 is the tits"
>>33415152
That wasn't what I was asking. I was asking how the makers of the SCR could patent that bolt since it's clearly been done before.
>>33415410
Exactly.
>>33416170
My guess would be since it has the rotating bolt and gas key it's a different patent. Glock did the same thing, took ideas from a few older gun designs and got a patent
>>33414111
thats a nice looking famas. can I get one in canada?
>>33416170
It's a pretty common design. Hell, my mossberg 930 bolt bears a passing resemblance.
>>33409051
Aim up using the bipod while prone.
>>33416238
I'm not so great at patentese, but I don't think this patent relies on a rotating bolt design.
I'm trying to figure out of somebody else could make an "AR" with a recoil spring in a Monte Carlo stock without infringing on this dudes patent. There is obviously a market for rifles like this and ARES isn't filling it.
>>33415547
No idea. I bought the complete rifle package before the seperate lower was a thing.
The image for the lower package showed a complete bolt. Though it previously cost $700. Maybe they pulled the internals for people building
.300memeout and whatever else fits in the magwell
>>33416423
I want to say that it is compatible with that, In hindsight i should have just bought the whole thing and replaced the barrel ( and probably would have had i known about it)
>>33408992
Pic related. Just got one myself, and this shit is fun.
>>33412089
Because most plastic stocks are black, and black guns are fucking scary as shit.
Pistol grips make the gun a tactical military gun.
>>33416503
>Pistol grips
Trigger warning
>>33416503
if it weren't 45c/rd i'd be in love.
>tfw you burn the cost of an entire box in a single magazine
>>33416593
>45c/rd
I'm sorry... but what does that mean?
>>33416610
a box of 5.7 is like 22 dollars
45 cents per round
>>33415359
>now i can make the American doesn't work as well and cost 4 times as much SKS that I have always wanted
Keep living the dream anon.
>>33416624
I feel like I'm missing something. >>33416503 is a 10/22 in a bullpup stock
>>33416656
nope, i'm just retarded, didn't click the damn thumbnail and ended up thinking that was a PS90
>>33409261
Take the thumbhole cover off and I think it honestly looks more attractive than your normal ar stock
>>33414111
>>33409281

>>33412199
why do i hate this so much.
>>33418920
because you are a horrible human being.
if the US hadn't fucked around in vietnam we'd have thousands of wood-furnitured M16s out there
>>33414644

>>33416573
actually i hate this way more. holy fuck .
>>33412921
>>33414111
>>33418686
I really like the look of these. Hopefully one day I will own one.
>>33416416
I don't speaka da patentese so good either, but I did see jesse james made a gun off of their design and is charging more than 5 times what ares is, and haven't heard of any lawsuits from that
>>33415359
Learn to type you fucking subhuman.
>>33412062
you don't
>>33416624
Just bought 500 rounds for $179.90 from PSA with free shipping. If you have something in 5.7 you learn quickly to buy in bulk online whenever there is a deal.
>>33412199
almost makes me wish for a nuclear winter/10
>>33408992
Wish there was a way to do a side charging version of one of these.
I'd make a target crowned HBAR 6.5Grendel side charger with wood stock, 15" MI M-LOK handguard, and put a nice trigger in it.
Speaking of which, is it also a proprietary trigger group?
>>33409051
I like it.
>>33420427
IIRC it can take any upper
>>33418951
It looks goofy, but it made full giggle on an M14 quasi worthwhile by making it a damn LMG.
>>33419730
> using proper grammar on the internet
what do i look like a cuck
>>33420591
As long as that "any upper" isn't piston based.
>>33420591
But it looks like their bolt carrier has to be used, which means no side charger. Could potentially do a top charging upper from Nodak Spud but that's not really the look I'd want.
>>33421233
The dubs say yes
