It happens.
They only imported a small batch right before the russian sanctions. They were selling for ~1000 and jumped to 2000+ overnight.
IIRC, they were imported with the parts, then converted stateside a bit. I think they imported with the bipod detached and a secured thread protector(I can see a grind mark where the small thread protector weld must have been). So I think think they pulled off the front sight base and put the bipod on, then reattached it.
I can't remember 100%, so don't quote me.
