Starfleet could be great... or it could be shit depending on your shirt color, MOS, and rank.

Even within 40k, I'd much prefer being an Imperial Navy officer to being a Space Marine.

The System Alliance forces would be my choice too. I've always found the Mass Effect universe, for all its faults, to be very appealing.

That corresponds with a lower rank, and a much shittier job.

Even if you have the cushy command of a patrol fleet in a sector opposite Coruscant on the galactic wheel, you'll still have to physically report in to higher-ups closer to the bosses on occasion, and the Force help you if anything Jedi or Rebellion related crops up in your sector, and you can't suppress it immediately.

The Helghast were objectively in the right for pretty much all of Killzone. If anything the Vektans were the antagonists.

You know, as good The Expanse LOOKS, compared to the books, the show is absolute garbage.

I mean, the plot conflicts in the The Expanse are mostly internal conflicts with the main characters, using the external conflicts as a backdrop.

Who the the fuck reads a series of books where the majority of the content relies on the audience being able to know what each character is not only saying, but what they're thinking as well, then goes "Yeah, this will translate well to a TV series".
