I just got this in the mail. How does /k/ store its ammo?
>>33385293
In a cool dry place.
On a shelf, in my closet
>>33385298
Is this cool enough? It's pretty dry over there.
>data mining
>one line writing prompt one post
>potentially trying to get anons in trouble
but also
>gosh you guys having just shelled out for quality stuff how do think I ought to secure it?
>>33385332
>DONT TALK ABOUT GUNS OR DA NSA WILL KNOW GUISE!
Just put it in a cool dry place. Ammo cans are best. I keep my overflow in cardboard boxes.

What if you live innajungle with no air conditioning? Dig a cellar?
>>33385293
It just goes under my feet
People tend to overthink this. The military stores it in tents and warehouses in various different climates.

50 cal ammo cans w/ desiccant
>>33385384
>dig a cellar
>at sea level
Yeah, shit sucks, I keep 2 dehumidifier rods in my safe and one in a the ammo cabinet. I glued some rubber seals around the edges and whenever I get a silica packet I toss it in which ever container is closest. Also, those cheap shit plastic ammo cans are actually pretty decent if the seal wasn't fucked up by the 6 year old tiwanese kid that put it together.

this. but i pretty much exclusively use 50 cal cans to soothe my mild tisms.
>>33385428
I use minimal electricity so dehumidifier rods might not be feasable, So I guess the better question would be how would someone living in 3rd world conditions in a hot humid location store weapons and ammunition for reasonable amounts of time? (FBI PLS I SWEAR IM NOT A UGANDAN WARLORD)

^This. I'm just bored+drunk and wanted to brag about muh ammo, I've never bought so much before. Also
>being this paranoid about data mining
>he's never heard of vault 7

Ammo cans
Pack them with half silica packets from beef jerky and half ammo.

So jelly of that shelf. Do you live in an apartment/dorm? I've been wondering what I'm going to do with my funs when I go to college.
In the corner of my closet behind the laundry detergent, sponges, cans of red beans, tomatoes and jars of pipe tobacco.
I like the fact that if someone were to walk into my room they wouldn't know I was a gun owner.
Although pretty soon I might have too many guns to do that.
>>33385293
I've seen horror stories on here where /k/ommandos lost everything due to flooding. Keep it high and dry, friend.
>>33385293
in ammo cans I buy from people on craigslist that probably stole them from Luke AFB or Yuma Marine base
>>33385293
mostly ammo cans.

Just got this now.
Just got 270ish rounds of Korean M2 Ball in yesterday, plus I bought a Danish M1 Stock set and a VAR Barrel for 50 bucks. I store most of my ammo in an old Bank safe and the rest in 50 cal/.30 cal ammo cans
