His manner of speech is deliberate, you can tell when he's speaking more casually in the odd-segment (usually when he's out of uniform). He's probably emulating some kind of military or officer's diction from the period? I kinda like it.

I tape a butter knife to my winchester 94 and follow along with his carbine bayonet exercises and his Figure of Merit explaination is great too. 10/10

It was really nice to watch his video about the SMLE, mostly because of how he handled it. Most youtube videos you see rifles fired from the bench and even there people fuck up the bolt manipulation on Enfields, basically using it like they're little girls. This guy knows how to use it, so watching him run around and do it was enjoyable

I like him. His content is interesting to me, and the production is good enough that it doesn't distract me from what he's going on about.

His channel got me to pull my old BP rifle out of the safe and shoot it until my shoulder was too sore to continue, and now I'm looking at reproduction rifles.

I like it when he plays Road to the Isle since it was my favourite part of our regimental march and the only enjoyable part of drill was hearing it, although most of the time it was some fucked up version. Never got to hear it played by Jocks with pipes unfortunately.
