Muh Henry. Bye bye yote.
>>
>>33366383
Coyotes are one of the hardest animals to hunt. A .22 would do the trick though.

>be out calling on the edge of my property
>wait a few hours, no yotes
>suddenly, but slowly, 17 pairs of eyes; maybe more, pop up on the tree line
>7 or 8 make their way out to the call, I can only down three before they all scatter
>one runs directly over me and gets caught by my dog
Scariest shit of my life right there senpai
THANK GOD I HAD MY FN USA SCAR-H

don't know what kind of coyotes you get, but the ones around here are all pussies. I don't think I've seen one over 40 lbs.

that said, Ruger 10/22 with 25 rounder
>>
>>33373263
isn't ravenous just another word for hungry?
>>
>>33373278
by ravenous I thought he meant feral or something, i.e gonna try and attack a full grown 160 lb man. round here I'd be more worried about cougars, but they tend to leave people alone.

I kill at least 10 of these cunts a month during winter without even looking for them. They just won't fuck off.

yeah they are bad where im at also, but only during the fall/winter months, they head north in the summer, but when october gets here they are all over killing cattle, and any dogs they find, my american bulldog and i go to war every year, just trying to keep my chickens, rabbits, and goats alive. as for what i use,its either a remington 887 shotgun,or my ar,usually once i start shooting they run in all directions, and kazak will catch and kill some as well
>>
10/22 or bolt action 16ga with number fours. It'll be dead either way. I also always carry my g17 or sp101 so I'm fine either way.
>>
>>33373507

It's a meme from /out/, some one was talking about how to defend against coyotes. You only need 4 times the weight of the animal to kill it with a deadfall trap. So a 200 pound man jumping up and slamming it, should kill it. Seeing as coyotes don't get that big.
>>
>>33373263
>the ones around here are all pussies

Same here. They are skittish as fuck.
>>
>>33366383
Marlin 60. I've killed more than 100 coyotes in my life and I've never seen a "ravenous" one if you mean aggressive. I've seen starving and sickly ones though. Coyotes are pussies and do more scavenging than hunting where I live.
>>
>>33366383

Gun?

That little cunt is about to learn what it's like to get punched in the face. As soon as I get a decent hold on him, I'll chuck him like they do in the hammer throw. I'll bet I could get some decent hangtime on a coyote.
>>
>>33374870
You'd never catch them.
>>
>>33372794

>>
>>33375502
Different guy but I've actually walked up to and scruffed a coyote that wouldn't fuck off a gut pile the day after deer season.

Unfortunately I forgot they have claws too and she scratched the fuck out of me so I tossed her and she ran away.
>>
>>33366383
Well. Last time I shot a coyote it was my brothers and I standing in the back of a moving pickup going about 50 across a harvested field in wintertime with 20 gauge shotguns. So Junior model Mossberg 500?
>>
>>33375533
That sounds fun. The ones I've seen up close didn't look like much, I've handled bigger and shittier dogs.
