I've been thinking of piecing one together. I live in a suburban area, so if for the hypothetical HD scenario, I wouldn't have to worry as much about over penetration. It would also be a lot cheaper than shooting 5.56, and I think would be a good way to introduce new shooters as it's pretty much a peashooter.
Either build one, or I was looking at the Angstadt Arms UDP-9

A Colt 9mm AR would be cheaper, unless you really have your heart set on glock mags.

They really only make sense if it ends up being as big as your pic related or smaller.
I personally think they don't make sense since you could get a stamp for a lower and have a 300 meme sbr that you could shoot pud loads out of for hd.
But more importantly there's enough ars in the world so get something more interesting and fun like a scorpion or mp5 or mpx

but shotgun is GOAT for HD.

Why not a full size 9mm pistol at that point?
>more easily maneuverable
>can use one handed
>can take 30rd mags
>can add suppressor
>>33366511
>more easily concealable

5.56 penetrates less fucking drywall and stick framing than 9mm hollow points do retard

I'm in Canada so sbr laws don't really matter. But I was thinking of a 7.5 inch barrel or something. It's going to be an AR type rifle because all the fancy stuff is banned here.

>Why not a full size 9mm pistol at that point?
I'm not a good pistol shooter, and it's going to double as a guest plinker at the range.
>>33366527
ah well then, I still like the idea of cheap ammo.
>>33366295
9mm ARs are fucking great
don't let the .223 SBR faggots tell you otherwise
ask me anything
>>33366527
>drywall
not everybody lives in a paper house or a trailerpark
most civilized people on the planet live in brick or concrete houses
>>33366295
Chamber a tiny m4 in .40 then we can talk
>>33366641
>>33366641
Most internal walls are dry wall you fucking autist.
>>33366680
>he lives in a paper house
>>33366681
>Not knowing drywall is made of gypsum
>>33366527
try explaining that to the indoor range clerks and see where that gets you.
>>33366716
well 223 is way more damaging to anything solid than 9mm
also has a multitude of energy
>>33366295
>the eternal drywall discussion
gets old at some point lads
>>33366527
It penetrates about the same. Watch
